Time in games isn't linear, the engine needs to actively advance it forward one step at a time and depending on how that is done in relation to the rendering of frames and the interval of packets sent and received, the kind of glitchy behavior you get will be different. Blizzard chose the kind of timestepping that's perfectly independent from your fps, but then shits the bed with high ping. They've got some really good ping compensation tech that takes the edge off, but Doom still becomes unplayable on high ping.

It's a common issue due to frame interpolation and latency compensation. The developers used a technique that is easy to program and works well with high ping, but has this effect due to time variance. It's an easy fix and the Devs should tune the game better for 60 fps. The opposite is very accurate positioning, but poor reaction to high ping. Like older fps like cs1.6. accurate positioning but very poor response to packet drops.

However, it's prone to cut animations shorter. The algorithm is a known algorithm used for years in predicting motion. It's just tuned awkwardly. In the days when games ran at 60 fps in general, all good network games used the same prediction technique.
Tbh marvel rivals is more graphic heavy than i thought. My frames ping pong from 20 to 120 when i play a game, so team fights are unplayable for me. Ive given up at this point lmao and yes all my shit is the lowest setting possible.

Not sure how much this will help, but you can try going into Settings, Display, and then turn Frame Generation Mode Off. It didn't fix everything, but it did make it a bit better for me.

spent a lot of time chekcing this. inbetween 40 and 47 dps, you get just asmost as many swipes as 160 fps. but, 30 to 40, there is a large damage droppoff inbetween 47 and 70, its somehow lower than the damge inetween 40 and 47 fps.
To add to the shielding early helps with quicker reload. I noticed with that skin, when you reload and you see the golden flash and hear the clap, shielding early then finishes the reload.

To add to the shielding early helps with quicker reload. I noticed with that skin, when you reload and you see the golden flash and hear the clap, shielding early then finishes the reload.
