    THIS!! I had been thinking about getting a Cricut specifically for stencil and maybe.... .an Iwata shirt... but mostly for stencils. Thank you for the video!

    Do you have to connect to the internet in order for the cricket cutter to work?And can you work offline I don't have a service to my home only my cell pH. I live in the backwoods thanks for info

      Rodney, unfortunately, like most things these days, yes. Design Space needs to be downloaded, and even though it gets downloaded to your machine, when you open it, it connects to the internet. That is my knowledge of it. I suggest that if you can get it downloaded, do some research to see if Design Space can be worked offline. I never had to work off-line, so I don't want to miss lead you. Thanks for the question, and thanks for watching.

    Great video .. definitely learned a couple tips .. hey on the defect erase you did manually..theres a guy called Mr crafty pants who has a video on how to do that in the layers settings which works well when you got defects within the image ..

    Again another helpful Video. What I need (bit cheeky) is an idiot guide to converting a picture (black n white) to an airbrush stencil.
    Let me explain where I struggle..... Its adding little bridges. You know what I mean I think. Say you cut a letter e out... the middle cuts out completely but if it was a correctly made one there is a little line added to keep the middle bit in?
    Some pictures I found would end up with big spaces where its not linked? Am I making sense?
    I know you gotva business and I appreciate the time you've taken. Other videos I found are unhelpful or just annoying.
    Apologies if you've done one I haven't seen. Keep up the good work. Cricut not very forthcoming with Instructions I find useful

      leebarcode, I have done this is a few different ways. One way is to just carefully place the center of the "e" separately and find a way to hold it. You can hold it with small magnets or cut out a tiny shape in the center of the piece you are trying to place and secure it with a piece of tape. That is the way I do it most of the time. I did this in the Ukrainian Flag video. Second way is to take your "JPEG" or "PNG" in to an editor like photo shop or MS Paint and connect the "center" of the letter's then upload it into design space. If it is just a one time use I cut it on vinyl and then use transfer tape to place it on my project. This really works best for letters. You can see this on the "Lacing" video. The most tedious one I ever did is part 2 of the "Catchers Mask" towards the end of the video when I was putting on the saying "Though Shall Not Steel". Look at all the "centers" that has and the letters were very small. I'm sure there are other way but that's how I do it. I hope this helps and thanks again for your support.

      @@TheAirbrushGarage thank you for your reply.
      I finally got round to cutting one on the circuit 3 it didn't have a dial to change.
      I did choose mylar and up the pressure but it didn't cut right through.
      Think I need thinner mylar this one was 7mm

      @TheAirbrushGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@leebarcode1973 interesting, I cut 7 mill with that setting all the time but...look under the material options and try stencil film with the pressure set to more.

      I saw the advice in the short video you linked in one of your main videos.
      I don't know whether it's because I'm using a model 3 that doesn't have the dial that I'm n9t getting the results you did or maybe because I'm buying poor mylar?
      I know one of the points 9f upur g8deo was not having to purchase a deep cut blade and save some money but would the deep cut blade solve my problem? I could justify the purchase cutting thin wood as well tp add some 3d ness (not a word I think} to my canvas with my glue gun? Thanks again

    Wait, you said design space is free

    • @TheAirbrushGarage
      @TheAirbrushGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Debbie, it was and still is.There is a paid version that give access to ready to cut pics and project. I have no need for that. I just bring my image in and get it ready to cut.
