Another great vid Kevin. If you're looking for something new, check out Holder Mine campground in Withlacoochee State Forest. There are a lot of off road trails from Sunday drive to Jeep extreme. The staff keep the place spotless. It fills up on the weekends during deer season. Be safe out there brother.
Great video and awesome state park. I have a suggestion for the donuts when you take them out of the oil put it in a paper bag add some sugar and shake them sit relax then enjoy.
Gotta say, my family and I almost got taken out both pulling into and pulling out of Colt Creek State Park. 471 is like a high speed death trap with massive semis going 90 mph in both directions, and you have to slow down to a crawl to turn in, and start at near zero pulling back out in front of these things. Am afraid to take my family back there TBH. Pulling in feels like trying to land a plane on an embattled beachhead, and pulling out you had best get your vehicle up to 70mph as fast as you can before they're on you. Maybe I just had some bad lucky that day, maybe not.
@@OverlandFlorida I'm sorry to be a bit negative on here as what you're doing is entirely positive. I just felt that I put my family at risk by not being prepared for the turn in and exit out of this particular park. People going there need to have some sort of strategy, probably slowing down and using turn signal a ways in advance, but that could cause a pile on and encourage people to attempt to pass around the vehicles behind you. So it is hard to know what is best to do.
My wife and I had did the walking trails out there but never camped. But now I am going to get out there and camp. We are in north lakeland so no excuse for us. lol 😂 thanks for the video.
Great job again Ron but..one demerit for that under cooked flaccid bacon. Properly cooked bacon is not burnt but will not bend...IMO anyway. Congrats on 10K!
Well deserved on the ten thousand. The food looked awesome. High five to the chef. What kind of work do you do if you don't mind me asking. Enjoyed the video. Its 19 here in southern ohio
These are the springs I sold Kevin for his Tacoma, in case anyone is interested. exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-rear-leaf-springs-pair-for-toyota-tacoma-2005-to-2019-l59-111-r/
A couple things you can add to your videos, GPS coordinates and cellphone reception with which servers. Us nomads really appreciate these things. I am in Florida now, unfortunately I have a bout of Bells Palsy, I'll email you soon as I get back on the road, I'm looking forward to meeting up with y'all, Duane
those donuts look great, kind of like an aebleskiver. nice usage of the amenities at the campsite, but do you need all that gear if you are at a campground?
The donuts are delicious! The campground is nice and that's my point. You don't need all the gear we use if you are camping at a campground. Camping doesn't have to be expensive.
Class A RVing is not camping... Lets be real, these people dont want to camp, they want to be in their home away from home on wheels... AC, full kitchens, sofas, Queen beds, showers, Satilite TV, netflix, etc etc etc... Yeah right, theyre "camping" lol
Even more annoying is that they are snowbirds living down here. So they take up campsites for 14 days at a time. Leaving it hard for people locally who really want to camp book a site. But none the less, they were good neighbors and bring tourism to Florida.
lol. One of the reason I like you guys is that you camp, not just do walk arounds.
Thanks. I try to keep an even mix lol

I've camped there more times than I can count! I enjoy going to the caves out there.
Great video and awesome state park.

That's a great idea. Thank you. We will try that.
Awesome thanks for sharing. Look forward in seeing more. I’m heading there soon. 🔥🆙
It’s a nice park. There’s no shade in the camping area. So bring an awning or something.
BEST CHANNEL EVER!!!
Thanks!

You are correct. It is a dangerous road. 98 and 471 have deadly crashes at night. I live in Lakeland and see them all the time.

It's not so bad now. They have turn lanes I think and signage telling telling about the approaching park entrance.
Same on you with the Chinese tires
I have a Napier truck tent and am ready to camp, but it's winter, so I'll watch you in the mean time. : )
Florida sand donuts. Great video
They were delicious!
Awesome video guys! Donuts looked amazing!!
Thank you and they were delicious!
Your front bumper is the same setup on my Xterra. ARB bumper and X20 winch with synthetic
It's a good set up.
Put the sugar cin.mix in a ziplock bag, drop in the doughnuts and close bag and shake
Thanks for sharing your video nice camping adventure.
Thank you for watching.
Nice video, thanks for sharing ✌
I live 5 mins away from colt creek. Gator creek runs through my back yard. Might run into you one day
For sure! That's a nice little creek. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video and info as always 👍
Thank you!
Bring a paper bag from the grocery and put your sugars in it. Put doughnuts in and hold top closed, shake and season! The only way!
Thata a great idea! Thank you
@@OverlandFlorida you can also brush with melted butter just before to make it stick mm

I love the park. I actually live in South Lakeland. Thanks for watching!
Cool content as always...maybe next vid pull the awning out so we can see it. Front and rear bumpers are awesome!!
Thanks, I'm actually using and camping in the awning room next week. So it will be in the next video.
Looks like another great spot. You should get a Mountain Hatch for your tailgate
What's a mountain hatch? Is that the smooth tailgate cutting board thing?
Overland Florida Yep that’s it! Tailgate cutting board. I am considering one myself.
I think you guys would love it with all the cooking you do.
Dip in toppings while very hot
Great job again Ron but..one demerit for that under cooked flaccid bacon. Properly cooked bacon is not burnt but will not bend...IMO anyway. Congrats on 10K!
Haha. To each their own. I like crunchy bacon.
I can't wait to try this place out. Thanks for posting about it.
It's really nice!
Congratulations Kevin n Ron on 10k! Keep it up!
Thank you!
Congratulations on 10,000 subs Kevin :) I enjoyed the video, thanks.
Thank you for the continued support.
awesome vid kevin! i also have a dobinsons kit for my 4runner. i love it. its perfect. way better than my previous 5100 setup.
When my old man Emu suspension wears out in front, I'm going to replace it with Dobinsons.
Looks like a great campground. Congrats on reaching 10k!
It sure is! Thank you!⁶
That is a really nice campsite
Yes it was!
love the vids, would love to travel down from PA to camp. looking into some camping options with the rubicon
Florida has very nice campgrounds scattered all over. Thanks for watching!
@@OverlandFlorida I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY!
Nice vid !! Can we see u guys actually eating the delicious food that was prepared? I think that wud be nice. 😊
Yes, we can make that happen! Thanks for watching!
Yeah...actually, there are YT channels of people just eating tremendous amounts of delicious food, so maybe you can tap into that "fetish".
Can you do a how to on how you built your drawer system and a link to where you bought the drawer sliders? Thanks!!
I can show you how they were made in an upcoming video. Thanks for watching.

Thank you! Ron is a great chef. I just have a county job. It's 78 right now in Clearwater.

I might be Hosting a caravan of nomads for Cheap RV Living this winter in Florida
I don't do coordinates. Verizon gets service all over the state of Florida. I've never not had service camping around here.
I'm looking forward to meeting with you as well.
Another great vid cant wait to meet up with you guys were was this camp ground Kev ?
Yes. We were at Colt Creek state park. We have to meet up soon.
Where did you get the tires? Great video as always!
The tires came from amazon. $430. Thanks for watching.

Any video driving through that creek?!
No, we would have been banned from all state parks in Florida.
Overland Florida well shit, that blows
thanks for reminding me about this campground...what site number did you take? Congrats on the 10K
I believe it was site #9. Thanks for watching!
yay 10k
Thanks!
Great content as always. Is Ron losing weight?
Thanks! Actually Ron has lost a lot of weight. I'm sure he will be happy someone noticed.
@@OverlandFlorida It's pretty obvious he's lost weight. I'm sure others noticed as well.
What do you do for work or where do you work at?
I used to do shift work for the county. That gave me 14 days off a month.
Hey Ron, if you want the best kitchen knife ever, check out AlmazanKitchen. My wife ordered me one for x-mas. Best knife I’ve ever owned.
We will look into that. Thanks!
