Take your height of your tower divide by 2.31 that will your water pressure . Or take your water pressure multiple by 2.31 that will give your tower height. Who cares about Pascale
Not all city have a pump running continuously to provided the necessary water pressure. I inspected the City with a population of 93,000 during one of their water tower installation. So it seems this little city prefer water tower over having a pump running all the time.
The height is all that matters for the outlet pressure, provided the system is static. If the outlet is gigantic and the "tank" fairly narrow, then the fluid velocity in the tank would no longer be negligible, and you'd have to use Bernoulli's equation. z
Fixed the sound issues about a year and a half ago, but these videos are still here to haunt me! YT does not allow an increase in volume in their editing studio, and I have over 200 videos with volume way too low produced in my first year of making videos. :(. z
All of you wrong = lbs per gallon + size pipe at bottom + nock offf few lbs for length ran.... ALMOST all city water from a tower is 60 psi ... most rural deep wells 1 hp sta-rite .. pump 60 -90 lbs as cut on - off. ...way better pressure in a shower! what i need is SHTF senario = 12 volt pump fills the tower of a 250 gallon tank at 20 feet high and at bottom i iuse 1 inch pipe and pressure gauge ! what is my pressure please ???? im going hook up 4x toilets with it.. so not need much .. lol
