It’s rare for me to watch an entire overlanding video on here. From start to finish I enjoyed this one! What a great time for the both of you, great work on the video. Looking forward to the next one!
This video brings back so many memories of my dad taking me hunting and fishing in that region over 45 years ago. Your little man will remember it forever just like I have!
@bfm_overland I love historical knowledge...I always find it interesting. There are a few trails we have been to in the past here in Florida that have some really cool history and only found out probably the last couple years. I feel like doing a video of those trails and sharing the history behind those places much like you did with this one. I am enjoying your channel.
Definitely! Sometimes that’s the coolest part of exploring places, picturing how people did it in the past with wagons and horses. Crazy That would be awesome, sounds like a great video in the making
Looks like a awesome place to explorer and camp, gotta go here in the winter for sure. Take my daughter she loves camping she's about to be five Sweet history lesson too brother 😎👍
@bfm_overland love to join ya, still gonna get my youtube going again. Get to 100k is the dream I'm at 40k and know I can make a cone back from a long long break.
this video was so awesome and inspiring for me to do this with my four grandsons. I went out and bought a 2018 4Runner off road, for this very purpose. thought I'd revisit the video and leave a comment to let you know that you are inspring others. Keep up the content as well as being a "Rad Dad"!
Thank you sir! I appreciate it, congrats on the 4runner we have a 2018 off road as well and it’s been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. You’re gonna love it. I love hearing that and it motivates me to make more content for everyone! 🙏🏼
Good sir this video is incredible - what a beautiful place 🎣 Texas native here I plan on taking my 3 yr old son and wife there next year, will definitely bring our bikes/toddler chair. Appreciate you man god bless. 🌵 ☀️
Priceless memories for you and your boy! I spent a night out there at the end of August. It was my first time to the area and I fell in love with it. You did a good job describing it. So unique!
The wife and I are watching. She was laughing at Big Boy past out in the car seat. Good stuff. We have 2019 1794 slowly building our travel truck. Cheers
What sizes wheels and tires and offset are u running? I have a +1 offset and eventually put on some wide fenders because I didn’t know how bad the rocks would chip the paint.
@markmota1431 I’m running 17 inch wheels and 35s. 17x9 0 offset and my tires are 35x12.50. I’m not a huge fan of a super negative offset I think the 0 offset fits the body of the tundras pretty well
Hey, that's really kool place!! Little guy was working that fishing pole!! Lol. Water reminded me of pristine waters up in Arkansas! How long can a person camp there?? Great vid!
Thank you! Yea he loves fishing, he’s getting good! I don’t know exactly the limit, I would check the website on booking and see. I’m sure a few nights is allowed
Yes I am not running factory suspension. I am running bilstein 6112 struts up front on top notch, bilstein upper control arms. And in the back bilstein 5160 with icon rxt leaf springs with the overload spring on for the addition weight! So far a solid setup and treats us well!
