الشلال تحديدا يقع في منتزه الأمير مشاري ، و المنطقة اسمها بني حسن بشكل عام (منطقة كبيرة) والقرى المحيطة به كثيره ومداخل المنتزه كذلك كثيره وكل مدخل جاي من قرية مختلفة ..
لكن ربما اقرب قرية للشلال هي قرية خيره وهذا المتعارف عليه ، و تعود لاسباب تاريخية، ربما كان الطريق الوحيد المؤدي للشلال هو الطريق الذي يمر بقرية خيره .. لكن اليوم تعددت الطرق واشتبكت القرى و هي تحيط بالمنتزه من كل الجهات ..

From my observation of what many Western and American travelers and others from East Asia publish, the desert, the Red Sea waters and the sand formations are what most attract their attention, to the point that many of them said I am on another planet. Among these travelers is the Swedish traveler who was fascinated by the mountains of Al-Ula and diving in the Red Sea waters in Yanbu, to the point that she literally said I will return to these waters, unlike Arab travelers who are impressed by mountains and greenery.
