I only work in the marine industry but deal with this a lot. I only had luck with ATF when the engine locks up only a month to 6 month prior. Anything longer I use diesel or kerosene to flush the loose stuff then use a low strength acid around the strength of vinegar. Once it works it’s magic I drain it again and fill it with to the top with diesel mixed with atf and start rocking the crank back and forth till it feels smooth and even for a few rotations. After all that it gets torn down gone thru and honed
I sure hope she gets free for you - that'll be so cool for you! Molasses works also, but it needs to sit a while. 'The Works' toilet bowl cleaner is an acid that works faster, but it'll go after the aluminum piston pretty quick.
Warm up a pot of diesel on the stove pretty hot ( no it won't catch fire unless it's really hot ) get a metal funnel and tip of hot diesel down the bores wait 30 or 40 min , it will move !
I had exact same engine and transmission and I could never unlock it and had to bang the Pistons out with a hammer and damage them and the only place I can get the replacement Pistons was from Hot heads and they wanted 1700 bucks so I sold that junky engine. They're cool looking but they have no actual performance and you can read that from the direct connection manual itself.
My grandfather had a DeSoto on his farm. I found the valve covers in his barn. I wish I still had them. Red Ram

You can also try some acetone and atf mixed .

You can also fill the water jacket with boiling water and free it up
