def like the longer style vids
Yup, just want more drew honestly 😂
Periphery 5 documentary maybe? :):):):):)
Best dressed band in the scene no 🧢
Even their guitar playthrough set looking so damn clean🥵
Them and alpha wolf have that drip 💧
No band has what this band has. It's not just deftones or heavy or really any one particular thing. It's completely organic. Love this band
nah fr like it sounds like deftones but its not its something farrr greater tbh on a musical standpoint
I feel like Loathe and Sleep Token have almost opposite images as bands. Sleep Token is so theatrical and mysterious and cultish, and Loathe is just so chill and relatable and down to earth. I love them both so much.
I got suggested so many times by people to listen to sleep token but I just can't get into them. Their riffs and their atmosphere is there but it's too theatrical and not intimate at all
Loathe just hits different man, especially their live performances 🤎
I let it in.. is probably my favorite album of all time, I love everything about it, the music, the atmosphere in music videos, the images they use. Everything
Sean is really the genius behind this album. Obviously it’s a democratic process, but he has Screaming, Is it really you, and sad cartoon to his name on this album. There’s another interview with guitarist Erik and he mentions Sean writing all of those songs. So cool how their drummer writes quite a lot of their more heartfelt moments and it in turn developed into their in my opinion best album.
I knoww dude its always the freaking drummers bro (speaking as a former drummer myself) I feel like we just have an overall understanding of how the songs could go and be able to maximize its potential to the fullest idk how to rlly explain it its like drummers are the foothold of the band
Man getting to see them perform I Let It In.. in it’s entirety live was one of the greatest days of my life. My favorite album of all time and had a giant LED screen behind then in a beautifully set theater so it set the mood so perfect. Absolutely unreal and my drunk ass quite possibly shed a few tears 🤣 Dude’s are just next level and can’t wait for their new works
Fantastic Audiotree sesh. I love that they also talked about their creative process and I get to hear Sean talk more.
Over a week ago I saw them for the 2nd time and they were just as good as the first time. Solid and massive sound, moody atmosphere and menacing yet welcoming stage presence. Erik even pulled a moonwalk during the New Faces breakdown.
I like that Twin Peaks came up because I first got really into this album around the time I was playing through Remedy's Control.
So much of Remedy's works have major Twin Peaks/Twilight Zone, psychological mystery science fiction inspirations. And yeah, Loathe has always had that sort of vibe too.
Greatest band there is in my eyes. I Let It In... is genuinly my favorite album ever made. I can't fucking wait for the next one, even though I know it will never live up to the astronomical expectations I have for it
Loathe as one. it's so sad that The Cold Sun didn't make it to the channel
such a good audiotree vid
Agree - one day I’ll dress like Loathe
yes.
Yes.
i love these guys, had the opportunity to see them live back in the cold sun days and talked to them after the gig (it was fucking wild), kadeem was at the merch table, and i was telling him how great the whole perfomance was, you can tell he loves and cares a lot about the music he does, i hope for the absolute best for all of them
I love how the clip of the guy talking about soft music goes directly behind the breakdown of Gored.
Enjoyed alot the reaction, brought me back to when you kinda edit live parts of a song into a video and obviously, your chatting/discussion is always great.
I let it in and it took everything blew my mind. Because of Loathe I have an 30 inch baritone as well😂. Which is sick
Just wanted to let you know in case you weren't aware of Loathe's other album The Things They Believe, it's a full ambient/more soundscape album. That's what music is playing during all of the interview parts in this video. So all the music you're hearing in this video is Loathe lol
Also I do believe you'd enjoy The Cold Sun! Definitely more of the heavy side and one that takes a couple of listens to get familiar with all of the tempo changes in the grooves as well.
Fucking love this band. Saw them at the Nile Theater here in Mesa last November. It was insane!
Cool reaction, appreciate you checking this out. I think you'll dig the rest of this series!
Scale the Summit have a great Audiotree session they did, they’re a great instrumental prog band
I love loathe just for the fact that theyve realised that you dont have to stick to the boring cookie cutter metalcore sound and when they acted on those thoughts is the second they blew up
Feisal going nuts at 17:44 😂 I love it
Still saddens me that Connor left tbh
Drew needs to listen to ERRA deluxe full album. Shit is nutttty
saw them live with unity tx, omerta, and static dress and they played i let it in and it took everything start to finish, it was unreal
I can't wait for new music from these guys. I Let It In & It Took Everything was one of the most exciting albums that came out in 2020.
Yes
Yes
Audiotree sessions are always great. May not have loved the last Loathe record, but have to respect that they're clearly (as stated in this) making the music they want to make.
I cant listen to new faces in the dark anymore without almost laughing remembering your reaction Drew lol
Erik actually does more of the singing on the album then he does live.
Debut album also banger. Check it out
If you haven't already you should react to White Hot, it came out in 2017 same year as The Cold Sun but wasn't on that album.
I believe the first guitar Erik used (the strat) isn’t a baritone scale length, which is what makes it so low tuned. The Gretsch is baritone though and is more their typical timings
They probably just put thicker strings on the strat
Yo did you ever listen to DEFTONES on your channel? If so I'm surprised you haven't yet, one of LOATHES big influences.
their live set on hate5six top tier. sound beautiful
One of the greatest live shows I’ve seen in my entire life
loathe as one
One as loathe
Wish Connor was still with them though wont lie
Just do The Cold Sun. Screw the polls
A CRY FOR HELP
IS JUST A CRY FOR WAR
🤌🏽
Getting some deftones vibes
They lost a guitarist since the first album reaction
love the reaction but why are your pupils so fucking dilated bro
