Having worked in auto body in the past, I can say that this guy from Ontario Truck Rebuild is an absolute proper metal and body guy... Most people would just have shot some rust converter on that inner rocker, slapped on the cab corners and call it a day. The fact that he took the time to do as good a job as the outside, on a part that no one will see tells you a lot!!!👌

Fella's I'm building the same truck, 97. Short wheel base. I bought it, realized that the frame was rotted in two. Total rebuild started there, new suspension, new bed, fenders doors! Same cab same hood, I rebuilt the transmission, painted the truck Toyota brown. I ran out of MONEY after trying to high performance the computer 318 engine, it spun the cam lobes. Now it's sitting in my driveway, waiting on a fresh engine!!!! Not a sema truck......😊

27:06 It's looks like your extending a clip already stabilized in Adobe premiere using warp stabilize effect. That's why you get the message about new frames needing to be analyzed. You need to tell your editor they can fix this and get rid of the message in the Timeline, click on the clip. Go to Effect Controls panel (not the Effects panel) Locate the Warp Stabilizer effect and click on the Analyze button.

I honestly cant wait to see your data from this project. I have a 1995 Dodge 3500 4x4 with a v10 nv4500 combination. About 9000lbs with the flat deck and 300 liters of fuel on board. It gets 8mpg no matter how you drive it. Pulling my 9000lb 33' toy hauler it doesn't want to leave 4th gear very often and it gets 4.7mpg. I have since bought a 2002 24v 4x4 3500 and it gets 8.5mpg towing the same trailer.
Very interested in the Edison kit, very interested in the r2.8.

Just searching marketplace for vintage GMC RVs or any of the cool classics could provide a platform. AND plenty of room for batteries in an RV. They're juat too damned big. The boss has an F150 and he likes it, but I hate it! You have to double park everywhere.
They've stopped making diesel Workmates now unless you get them in the high rider. I lifted generators, plate compactors, welders, etc on and off and its a huge difference! Even putting 4.8 F27 beams on the racks is brutal being up that extra 150mm!
Maybe if it's bagged out and 200mm narrowed I'd be interested!

If you plan to keep the power steering setup on the motor for when the motor is running to generator power so power steering and Hydroboost work but want an electric power steering pump for when it is off, you can use a Volvo power steering unit (mid 2000s) to provide hydraulic power to those units. You would just need to plumb in a couple one way valves so the Volvo unit can provide hydraulic power when the engine stops turning. It is true that you can convert to electric power steering and power brakes, but those can require more work depending on how you do it.

The best is the F3kitty that 1 is my favorite…the tank truck is pretty bitchin just the work up(you need to go back to do a show off of what it is now and what it can do)…another favorite to say the least….but you guys are out doing it!
This build is pretty bitchin, love the before we find out the numbers, then the find out the numbers with the Cummins then what you will do next with the electric motor engineering…yeah way up my alley…always felt
That the way of the future is a generator running a hybrid system that powers the batteries…god bless you guys for doing all of this…
Please keep this kind of innovation going…can you imagine the boat with solar standby charging with the hybrid system to go boating…I’m thinking dual motors with inboard outboard set up on a 30-32’ catamaran style boat(that’s what I want!) but to go that next…hint hint
    Keep it up
Also maybe some channels for the boys…I bet you can get a channel
    For Aaron to make some
Loot by doing a what’s it like to do his life by following you let
Him generate money for him on his own channel…same with Andy his life
