    I think people don't realize how much time effort and money goes into a project like this. I've tried. I know I underestimated the cost and time it took by DIY'ing it.. But with enough practice, you might end up with skills like this. To make something bespoke and beautiful. Perfect job.

    Looks great, from the outside... But let's have a look at the inside seeing as no back purging was done....

    Resonator with the muffler makes the more quieter? Or silents it down?

    thats awesome welds. can you buy pipes with angled bends or do you have to make all the bends yourself like you did?

    • @MidwestRider559
      @MidwestRider559 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can buy pipes that are pre-bent, but not like those. Typically they'll be 45 or 90 degrees. The bends he made are actually a series of cuts from a straight piece and then welded back together to form the right angles. It's a "pie cut" because it's made of several pieces. Huge advantage of this is it keeps the inside diameter the same all the way thru, and keeps the walls equally thick all the way around. The off the shelf bends from Autozone/Napa are basically straight pipes (actually tubes) that they press in and essentially crush the inside of the curve to form the bend. That's why they have the ribs on the inner side of the bend.

    Bro, how much amperage and gas do you use on the exhaust? The quality of your weld without purge is awesome...

    Did you have to disconnect the battery before you weld on under the car?

      Damn I didn’t even think of that, would that affect the arc/grounding of the weld?

    There is a lot of welding, i also dont have machine for bending pipes and i wonder how long it will last with good welds.

    • @AntoineMk1
      @AntoineMk1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Should last couple years. If properly done, a weld is stronger than base material.

    • @danielkowalski1432

      @@AntoineMk1 nice. Do you put the echaust in any acid after welding? Is there any sense for doing it? Will it last even longer then? What do you think? I will probably build my own exhaust system this summer!

    • @AntoineMk1
      @AntoineMk1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, just leave it as is after welding. Let it cool down and you're good to go.
