Amazing...me and my band Duty Prefects shared a bill with 'em at a talent contest in the Palace Theatre, Union St...we were 16 so they were big men!! They did Lucy Looe (who Big Al, the singer, once told me was 'one of his many lovers' ) and we covered A Forest, neither of us won, though. One of them actually shouted 'Wanker' at me while I was singing, so I went 'And you mate' - yeah, tough guy with a microphone 😂 Them and their mates used to hang out at a boozer called the Minerva, anyone remember Tom , Poppy and The Concrete Rabbits?

Remember seeing these in a pub nr Tavistock Devon in 1982 ... Brilliant. One of the best gigs I went to (apart from the Clash) ... happy days.
