Chris used to take his daughter to watch Miley Cyrus film her Hanna Montana show.
Brothers, this don’t have to be exact to the song . It was just a tribute to Chris. They asked her to do the song at the tribute.
I completely agree it doesn't have to be the same and I wouldn't put that pressure on anyone to try to come close to that! She did a great job even if stash aka bunny ears was more critical than I was
As unlikely as it may seem her father "Billy Ray" became friends with Kurt Cobain when their tour busses ended up parked next to each other. I think the whole family has deeper connections to the rock community than it would appear at first.
Man bunny hat had to reach so hard to dunk on this performance. I promise its okay to enjoy things, no one's gonna doubt your street cred for admitting she killed this.

I remember being blown away from this, was definitely the best performance from Chris’ tribute concert. Concert was a mess, seems like it was just thrown together last second but this performance was something special.

You gotta give the girl PROPS.... She nailed it(IMO)!!! My 2 sons were infatuated with her during her "Hannah Montana" days, So I had no choice but to watch her grow. She got a little crazy(SCARY) for a while.... But she has some SERIOUS chops and think she did Chris proud with this. She did "Two Drink Minimum" and killed that as well. From what I've heard she was very nervous to do this....Chris' daughters are HUGE Miley fans and they got to meet her. Made their night! That alone would've made Chris happy! Peace....

no shade but how can you trash on this cover? yeah she took some artistic liberty but i think she did the song justice! the emotion is incredible. it doesn’t have to be the same as the original. bunny ears is a hater

It must of been pretty intimidating for other artists like Miguel and Adam Levine etc and Miley to get up there and sing to hard core rock fans, not an easy thing to do, but I have just stumbled upon all of these videos and they have been giving me goosebumps and they all did an amazing job and "tribute" to their friend/musical idol whatever whos not here anymore of course emotions can take over and artists might forget shit, it's not about being perfect, it's about the feeling.
