It was. Reminds me of when my teacher brought a tarantula from home that she had named Rosie. I was fine with watching her from outside the tank. One day, my teacher said she was going to set the spider on my shoulder. I told her respectfully: “please don’t do that. I appreciate that you love your spider, but if you put that on me I will kill it. I don’t want to kill your pet. Please don’t even try.” Luckily that saved me and the spider some trauma.
Bees and wasps are known to recognize their beekeepers too. Thats why some beekeepers dont need beesuits. They treat their bees good and the bees will recognize them and Not get aggressive cause they know you. Wasps are also known to Attack people they dont Like. If you try to hit one that lifes at or near your House you can be attacked by the Same wasp again and again cause it recognizes your face. Shell remember you and try to get Revenge on you every day.
I also rescued a Hornet Queen once in Summer, it was dehydrated and near death. So i picked it Up and gave it honey, water and sugar water. And im 100% Sure she looked me in the eyes every time i picked her up. She was sitting on the palm of my Hand eating honey and never ever showed any Aggression towards me. She didnt try to Sting, bitte me, or escape. Im Sure she knew i didnt want to harm her. She even let me Stroke her Back and watch after her Wings. After a week her Wings unfolded again and i Set her free to start her own little kingdom.
I had a small apple tree covered in blossom this summer but not a single bee was visiting it. I found a sad honey bee stuck inside my house, it couldn't fly anymore and was exhausted. I popped it on the apple tree blossom and it rested up and went to town on the flowers. He hung around all afternoon, and I would check on him and he flew around me each time I came out. The next day I kid you not that tree was COVERED in bees. I like to think he went home and told his friends :)

@djtanikgotbeatz he was laying on my sponge and when I picked it up I didn't see him. Unfortunately due to the movement he fell down or maybe tried to jump off
These spidies in particular: 1.) Have stupidly good eyesight and can recognize different human faces 2.) Have good memory to recognize a safe creature vs a dangerous one, so they trust their owner but may be wary of other humans and animals. 3.) Spiders really like vibrations and the human voice can be super calming and enjoyable to them. Music, tv, and singing to them can put them to sleep lol. 4.) They recognize different voices so no doubt when Jade was out her habitat, she was prob a little nervous as things may have felt unfamiliar, heard her owners voice and immediately went to it, knowing it indicates a safe space for her to chill and take her environment in ❤ Also we are like big heated trees 😂 imagine being smol, cold blooded, and your mom is literally a walking electric blanket you can hide in ❤
Definitely adorable for a spider... thought so when I was 8 years old, and one of them was on the wall where I tried to hold it, and pet it, and make it my friend... instead it chose to bite me on my thumb where my thumb throbbed in insane pain for over an hour, and became swollen.. Still remember how bad it hurt decades later. I know it was just threatened cause I was grabbing it.. but I was a kid and didn't know any better at the time.. My point is you shouldn't just think they're just super friendly, and try to pick them up.. cause that bite hurt! lol
Jumping spiders are one of the smartest species of spiders 🥰 can solve puzzles, recognize people and their own name, and can (debately in the spider community) be taught tricks such as high five. Beautifully intelligent and concious creatures ❤
My gf has extreme arachnophobia, so I've been trying to help her get over it. One day, we were at my house and I turn a corner and see a jumping spider. I went to get my gf to show her and she reluctantly went with me. After a few seconds of looking at it, she said "Are you sure it won't hurt me?". I told her yes, she held her hand out and it jumped on her hand. It studied her, then jumped back on the wall. I'm so proud of her 😭
@@turzyn40 They can, and it kind of hurts, but they're more curious than anything. If they bite you, that means they're stressed and feel threatened and it's REALLY hard to get them to feel like that. So if you decide to handle a jumping spider, unless you're a dick to it, it won't even think of biting you.
When I was a kid there was a big wolf spider on the wall, which scared me, but my father was yelling at me to kill it. I didn't want to. I started crying as he was getting angry at me that I wasnt smashing it, so in desperation I scooped the big girl into my hands and rushed outside, cupping my hands closed. I let the spider go. Didn't bite me!
I was hunting and just sitting in an open field when I spotted a small black and white spider withe the most electric blue spots in front of its face.We both just kept looking at each other and it was so friendly that I was hypnotists by its character. It got to the point where it walked all over both my hands and would stop and stare at me.I fell in love with it but even though I wanted to take it home I felt it was better off there in that field so I carefully put it down but never forgot that day or that spider. @@darrellbooth2759but who knows, maybe? They are usually inside something so it would be hard to make any connection with it. And I doubt anyone would want to-
@@darrellbooth2759no. I highly doubt that those parasites are even aware that they are living beings. Their brains are too basic ganglia, don't have mouths or eyes... they just exist. Spiders also have ganglia brains but it consists of a neural network that usually goes beyond thir "head". Jumping spiders have a neural network that extends almost throughout their whole body (which is a lot) including their fangs and legs!
I love when she says "Hi Mama" to the spider. I was always arachnophobic until I started watching these vids. Jumping spiders are too cute not to love. ❤
I had a huntsman in my house that looked really old so I called her grandma. I'm very afraid of spiders but I thought to myself I have a dog and 2 cats on my bed I'm safe... I was...next morning I put grandma in a container and put her outside beside my bin. An hour later, my mind told me she's still in the same place so I went out there and she was... so I took photos of her and had a conversation with her explaining why she couldn't live in the house with me...I got up to walk inside and myself told me she was following me...I turned around and there she was following me back into the house.
That's funny. You probably already know but huntsman spiders are harmless to humans in the sense that they aren't dangerous for us and are actually pest controllers. Yes, they can bite like any other spider but that's only when they fell threatened to defend themselves. So, even though you don't want it in your house they are beneficial and will not hurt you.
@@beethovenstrance5042 Actually, plenty of spiders can't bite due to their mouths being too small to penetrate human flesh! But yes, they're harmless, and beneficial to keep around.
If a spider can make a living in my house, then so be it. We are really on the same team -- he or she is definitely doing me a favor by catching bugs I cannot find and squish. I go to great lengths to not sweep or vacuum them up, and leave them to their work.
CAN CONFIRM i literally used to save wasps, bees, yellowjackets...absolutely everything, anything i found still living in my childhood pool i'd always save, and i eventually had a truce with all the wasps in the area. I also only used water to knock down nests (doesn't kill the wasps, genuinely works better and more long term than sprays) and i only knocked them down if they were in like, a well trafficked area. I haven't been stung in almost twenty years cause even now that I've moved to a totally different state I'm still always trynna make friends with my local wildlife lmao. Pro tip! If a wasp or bee etc is checking you out, don't freak out and run or swat at them, that actually scares them and makes them more likely to sting you. Instead just hold still! You can still breathe and stuff, but move really slow and just let it say hi and see what you are, let it get a good look! Even when I've been accidentally near nests, just going still and being calm, talking in a calm voice and then carrying on with my business is always enough to get even yellow jackets to not mind me! (Note i dunno jack about insects outside of Southern united states so like, don't quote me on this advice for the giant murder hornets etc LMAO)
I am deathly afraid of spiders because i hate the thought of them crawling on me, but this is actually so cute and if all spdiers were like jade i'd love them 😅 its crazy to know that she understands that you are there and that she recognises that you are a safe place for her ❤
I’d be weird to have more than two fluffy legs poking you, so I agree about the thought of being crawled on, but I still save spiders out of my pool every day❤
@@chiot888 Most definitely not, spiders are way different compared to dogs or other pets. Take tarantulas for example, most of them don't want to even associate with us and preferably if they can try to avoid us. Unless they were climbing on us to get around. The Brazilian Wandering spider I believe is a pretty defensive spider so even if you try to "treat it well" it will most likely attack you cause it wants to be left alone and doesn't want you close to it. Now not all spiders are like that as some T's don't particularly mind being handled but still best to leave them alone. Not all can be as passive as the jumping spider can even if you treated them well so it is just best to respect the animal and leave it to do it's own thing.
I had a tiny jumping spider in the wild crawl onto my leg and there was so much intelligence in its eyes and actions. Although cautious and a little nervous, it was actually very friendly, compassionate and curious. I was actually having a really hard emotional time and I think it came to try to comfort me and strangely, it did. When I had to go I would not be late for work, I told it such with gentleness and regret. It understood somehow and dismounted into the leaves on the ground. Since it was so tiny, I waited to move so I wouldn't harm it, something it seemed understand. I waited for it to reappear, saying "where are you, my love? I don't want to crush you". Another moment and it reappeared on the top of a leaf near my foot. I thanked it for its beauty and kindness. I shall never see that little spider again, which saddens me. But in my heart, I know we connected for a reason 💚
I've noticed with jumping spiders, most of the time if you put your hand or a finger down next to them, they seem to understand very quickly that if you wanted to hurt them you would have, and then half the time they willingly jump on you for an interaction. They are so awesome ❤

They can't hear you in the usual sense since they lack ears, but those "hairs" are fairly vibration sensitive still. So they might be able to realize you're the source of it, but probably not really differentiate besides that.

Please don’t even try.”

Bees recognize people too. I got surrounded because I helped them with food last winter.

What a sweetheart.
These spidies in particular:
1.) Have stupidly good eyesight and can recognize different human faces
2.) Have good memory to recognize a safe creature vs a dangerous one, so they trust their owner but may be wary of other humans and animals.
3.) Spiders really like vibrations and the human voice can be super calming and enjoyable to them. Music, tv, and singing to them can put them to sleep lol.
4.) They recognize different voices so no doubt when Jade was out her habitat, she was prob a little nervous as things may have felt unfamiliar, heard her owners voice and immediately went to it, knowing it indicates a safe space for her to chill and take her environment in ❤
Also we are like big heated trees 😂 imagine being smol, cold blooded, and your mom is literally a walking electric blanket you can hide in ❤

They can't bite?
@@turzyn40 They can, and it kind of hurts, but they're more curious than anything.

@@Neon-jn3spWell first we'd have to find someone who runs a mach 11 to catch up to the centipede.

@@Hystuko Jumping spiders actually have some of the best spider eyesight so it probably recognizes her quite well id say.
Maybe all spiders could be like jade if you treated them like jade
