For newer players or small tribes, I would suggest avoiding all of these locations (for pvp atleast). If you want a cave, gonna need one with much smaller entrances, these locations will be constantly wiped by stegos unless you have a lot of tek turrets. Even plateau bases would be better than these, atleast then raiders wouldnt be able to walk soakers right in
for newer players dont play official unofficial servers that wipe every 30-60 days is much more fun and opens up alot more experiences making u alot better at pvp than breeding and raising tames for 5 days just for it to be netted :) or 1 tapped by a 2300 giga

Many people didnt unterstood that the new map is ARK Classic and it is phohibited to build bases in ratholes, caves or event areas. So in no one of those spots you cant build a base officialy. You just need a modded server to build in this areas
I like the redwoods waterfall cave. Cliff entrance, top entrance is covered. Only way is jumping with good movement or tame and flyers so if u put chandeliers there and a big ass deathwall on the other side of entrance. Luv it
There is also a crouch point one-entrance cave that is spacious enough for most tek sand other crafting, and plenty of room for breeding, just outside of the overgrown castle, go backwards towards the mountain, and go right until there is a pocket, and then crouch under the crouch point. Wish all of you luck.
If you are playing on a pve server that first cave is a great one if you block off the entrance. Rex's and alpha's spawn like crazy outside of it. One of the sections of the cave has trees and plants and rocks so I put a behemoth door infront of it and set a therizino, a doedicurus and a casteroid on wander in there. You get easy auto resources
As always a "top ten hidden base locations" automatically turns the list into "top 10 raid target locations". If you think the veterans and grievers don't look at these videos for easy prey...you are fooling yourself. New Player 101...never make a base in a location shown in a popular TH-cam video unless you have a big talented tribe.
Here's an update on the newly released map. All those locations except for the last one or at least half the size. They're great for a small tribe but they are tiny.
The spots aren’t that bad medium size. Some spots are big enough for a mega tribe but are so bad for defending that is pointless. Only exception to bad base spots is gensis two since its so broken. You can farm a hundred tps worth in an hour
These videos are so funny “perfect for small tribes looking to stay hidden”, meanwhile people like me use these videos to find “small tribes looking to be raided”. And at low cost because 99% of the time they put all their defenses inside the cave damage area instead of outside the door. For real tho people, don’t build in these spots unless you’re hoping to get offlined. The only “hidden” base locations are gonna be the ones that aren’t on any videos
your not showing enough of the entrances and surroundings for some of them the first desert cave you show i just cant find and the coordinates are in the water
I have got a question to the first base behind the waterfall. Im playing with my friend and we are trying to build the base here but there are a lot of bats that spawns all the time. I tried building platforms around the place but it didnt work. Is there any other way to get rid of them?
Ikr i kinda hate and love these videos at the same time. Cause one hand now i know spots to raid. But on the other now other people know base spots to raid including mine.
First off nobody mention any more base spots please or else people might find mine Also lastly there is a mesh spot on this map that basicly allows you to mesh the entirety of the map. If you didn’t know… Some other maps have this as well but i won’t mention which. wildcard really gotta fix these mesh spots
