It is a compliment to her range of emotive ability that you call her sound fragile because on some of her songs, she is anything but. “Gunpowder and Lead” and “Kerosene” show her tough side; “White Lier” and “Mama’s Broken Heart” with the accompanying videos show her comedic side and “The House That Built Me” (which I cannot listen to without crying) brings you back to her soft side. And for bonus fun from her, check out “Hell on Heels” from her group Pistol Annies. These and many more are why she is a favorite of mine and I am not a huge country fan. Please do more!
This is one of Miranda's most beautiful songs. Her vocals are so emotional and you feel her pain. She was married to Blake Shelton, now divorced. This may be the heart break demonstrated in this song. Great reaction Harri. Next "The House that Built Me" Thanks Harri and Debbie. Beautiful choice. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Great request Debbie. Harri, Miranda Lambert is one of the most awarded women in Country Music. She is a prolific writer. She has very spunky songs as well as heartfelt songs like this. She is also very courageous. She preformed this at a award show with her ex-husband and his girlfriend in the audience. Fortunately Miranda is happily married now. What a wonderful reaction Harri!
She is the Queen of Country Now. She supassed the records of the other women!! She can sing anything from this to Gun Powder and Lead!! Love name some Miranda Lambert. Haven't heard a bad song yet!! She's one of only seven or eight Country artists to win the Triple Crown!! Which is...New Artist of the year, Artist of the Year & Entertainer of the Year!! But she's also won Event of the year!!
Miranda Lambert is one of the best song writers in country music. She co-wrote this song with Jack Ingram another legendary song writer. Miranda is also one of the most versatile singers in country music today. You never know what she will put out, but it is also outstanding. Gunpowder and Lead is a very early song of hers that is extremely different from Mr. Tin Man. She also paired recently with Elle King on Drunk and I Don't Wanna Go Home. The House That Built Me is another great song, even though she did not write it. I LOVE Miranda Lambert because she never disappoints and she is always great.
Miranda is one of the biggest stars in country music. She just released her 9th album. This song is about her divorce from Blake Shelton. Her catalog is well worth looking into as well as her side band Pistol Annies.
first the Tin Man is a reference to the Tin Man in the movie The Wizard of Oz who was looking for a heart. Second, she if fragile and tender till she starts sing Gunpowder and Lead or Kerosene...lol She also has a side band with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. They have some Feisty songs as well.
Thanks for introducing this song to me, Debbie & Harri. Harri's right about her affinity with Dolly's angelic voice. And the song was co-written by Jack Ingram who I saw open for Junior Brown ages ago at The Lone Star Cafe in NYC. I'm happy to see he had a successful songwriting career after his youthful stint as a performer.
Long time Miranda fan here. She may sound fragile in this song, but she is a spunky little spitfire in many others! Check out "Gasoline". "The House That Built Me" is my personal fave. Thanks for the great reaction Harri!
Harri you should check out the song Keeper Of The Flame by Miranda Lambert. It's a song about keeping the flame burning from the late great female country greats who have passed and passing the flame to all the future female country artist still to come. Great song that she had co wrote.
@@User_gin_927untileternity Time is still tight for me, I just clicked on this reaction request of Debbie's because the song title piqued my interest, given my love of the America song by the same name. I've never heard of, "Never Lands", but I'm guessing it's a request you made and you're sore with me for not commenting on it. Don't take it personally, Gin, I've just got a ton going on. I'm still a big fan of you and your keen musical taste. :D
@@User_gin_927untileternity Oh, now see, I obviously remember saying that, but I didn't make the connection with the song name, nor have I had a chance to keep up on Harri's reactions. A nice reminder from you that the song I had expressed interest in had indeed been reacted to might've been nice, rather than acting offended. With all due respect, Ginny, I've got a helluva lot more important things going on in my life than keeping up with your reaction requests--regardless of whether or not I previously mentioned an eagerness to hear one at the time you made the request. Chill, sister, chill...we're all just here to have fun.
Imagine singing and playing alone on a stage in front of your ex and your peers. Miranda co wrote this song. If you want to hear some fire from her listen to Gunpowder and lead.
Miranda has some great songs. Tin Man is an excellent one. I like her older stuff better than her new stuff though, here's some I think you should check out. White Liar The House That Built Me Gunpowder and Lead Vice Automatic Little Red Wagon Kerosene Famous In A Small Town
The subject matter is definitely fragile Harri. I think she had her own heartbreak in mind when she wrote this. She is actually a current artist. Miranda is extremely accomplished and very popular among country music fans. She has many great songs with an array of categories incorporating humor, toughness, grit, heartache, grief and in-your-face honesty. A very talented woman 🌺✌️
I agree. As a man I hear her emotion, it strikes me, she is vulnerable, and I want to comfort her. Almost primal. That is just from her voice, while the words sing the painful story in childlike manner.
It’s an ache, in the voice, Alison Krause has it, listen to her cover of When You Say Nothing at All, Patsy Cline- any song. It’s like a catch in the voice when they sing, and you feel exactly what they feel. Kelly Clarkston has it, listen to her live performance of I Will Always Love You. She hold up to both Dolly’s version & Whitney’s. Or her preference of The Dance. (You did a lovely reaction to) It is just an extra something some are gifted with.
This is pretty modern country. You must check out her song “Over You” written by Miranda and her then husband Blake Shelton when his brother died. It will make you cry.
I believe she did this song around the time she and Blake Shelton got divorced. You should check out her song "Over You." It's a song that was inspired by the death of Blake Shelton's brother. Her and Blake wrote the song together.
I absolutely love this song and Miranda Lambert. Unfortunately, it has kind of become my theme song over the last several years. 😆. She’s a great singer and songwriter and she seems like a genuinely nice and humble person.
Couple more things…this song was actually released in 2017 and the instrument you thought like a Hawaiian guitar is a pedal steel guitar, which is very common in country music. Also, another recommendation…the official video for her song Automatic (which has heartfelt lyrics about longing for the time when everything people did wasn’t “automatic”)
Yea she was married to Blake Shelton and they got divorced and rumors were everywhere. She has since re married as has he.Shes got talent .Go down this rabbit hole
Her singing is less unique than Dolly Parton a. Also I think the younger ones tend to be more frosty in nature. So they tend to be more aloof. Remember Pluto is hovering in Virgo, Libra and Scorpio meaning Saturn the planet of detachments takes centrefold in the 7th house where it is digbali.

Miranda Lambert is a little country songbird and has some really beautiful tunes. Thanks Harri
More Miranda Lambert and her group also, The Pistol Annies. Hell on Heels is pretty good. She's a current artist. She's a great songwriter.

Miranda's voice comes across as ethereal. Nice reaction!

I had never heard this version, very lush. The cut from THE MARFA TAPES is just her and her guitar, west Texas raw.
this song really gets to me, especially the last set of lyrics. great choice !

Debbie - Thanks for introducing me to Miranda Lambert and her very impressive vocals. Harri, your review was a joy to hear.
Miranda Lambert is so well known and a great artist.
Such a wonderful play on words she is a powerhouse
Please do more Miranda Lambert! She’s awesome. I have her first 5 albums. All great.
Only person I ever heard say she reminds them of Dolly, your right though.. her voice wraps around you.. loved this bravo Sir.
This woman is simply amazing. 🤩
One of my favorites by Miranda. She has so many great songs

Miranda Lambert is from East Texas where I live. She is a super star now. Listen to Gun Powder and lead for a different side of Miranda.

You’re welcome John. I learn so much from your comments and requests. I’m glad I can reciprocate 🌺✌️
Miranda has been my favorite for over 10 years. Any song is Platinum! Thank you for finding her & reacting. #ranfan #musicismedicine

Very beautiful Debbie I don’t know Miranda all that well but this is such a great song. ✌️💜
I’m glad you enjoyed it 🥰

Love Miranda! I have all he CDs . Her writing and music has pulled me through many depression moments of my life. Nice reactions!
Your reactions are so pure! Thank you!
Debbie, as a huge America fan, I can now say there are *two* songs named, "Tin Man", that I love...thanks to you. :D

She's been being called the Queen after Loretta Lynn just passed!!? R.I.P Loretta!! Anything Miranda Lambert does is fantastic!!
Miranda has some great songs. Tin Man is an excellent one. I like her older stuff better than her new stuff though, here's some I think you should check out.
White Liar
The House That Built Me
Gunpowder and Lead
Vice
Automatic
Little Red Wagon
Kerosene

She sang this Live and sang it just as the recording. This is New enough and not the 70s at all. Check out some of her catalog.
I think she also has a song with Jason Aldean "Blame it on the Whiskey"?
Check out her live version. Can't beat it.
She's tops on my wife's playlist.
I believe she did this song around the time she and Blake Shelton got divorced. You should check out her song "Over You." It's a song that was inspired by the death of Blake Shelton's brother. Her and Blake wrote the song together.

I highly recommend watching the official video for her song The House That Built Me.

❤🎉😊
Yea she was married to Blake Shelton and they got divorced and rumors were everywhere. She has since re married as has he.Shes got talent .Go down this rabbit hole
Also check out "Virginia Bluebell"
If you haven’t already done so, check out her THE HOUSE THAT BUILT ME.
Check out "Kerosene" or "Little Red Wagon" to see the TRUE Miranda Lambert Harri!! 🤣😂
There’s a song about a little red wagon. And gun powder and lead
Sounds like she's from my town 😅
Why compare her to Dolly Parton. She’s unique in her own sense. No comparison. Please
She sounds like she's broken in this song.
Not the same song I was thinking of, but referencing the same character.
So sad to hear the hurt she was going through. Her divorce from Blake Shelton brought forth this song.
Nope not the 70s, just a few years ago. She co-wrote this after her idiot ex husband Blake Shelton broke her heart
I think 4 years ago. She and Blake Shelton divorced and this is result.
You've got to watch her live, she's just broken up from Blake Shelton..... How can you not know that, and Guen Stephanie just married him!!!
You didn't even play the whole song ..
You may want to check out her band Pistol Annie"s! I suggest Hell on Heels
