Such a beautiful song. Miranda wrote this with the other two men who sang with her, Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. They have quite a few songs they did together on her acoustic project called the Marfa Tapes. They are songwriting buddies.

When she’s talking about the tin man with no heart, that’s like from the Wizard of Oz where the tin man was going to see the wizard so he could get a heart, but allegedly this song is about her break up with Blake Shelton. She’s telling the tin man he should thank his lucky stars that he doesn’t have a heart, because if he ever felt one breaking you would never want a heart

I can't finish this & it's one of my favorites!! Jack Ingram write with her sometimes & rarely sings with her. That was bad enough, now they bring in this guy! Sorry, this version is just awful to me!! Others may think different & that's their right. I just speaking for me!!
