I have been preparing for the IELTS exam for the last 4 months. I'm still not able to attend the exam. It's a very difficult test. I gave around 130 tests of all four modules but It's very very dangerous for me to clear the exam. Reading is more difficult than other modules. I never score more than 28.
It sounds like you're putting in a lot of effort, @JackDevid-ck1kl! For reading, try focusing on understanding the question types and practicing time management. Hi @rekharani2287, Currently, IELTS One Skill Retake is available on computer in selected centres and countries. The exciting news is we're working on expanding to paper-based tests in more places. Stay tuned for updates - we'll make sure to announce it on our social media channels!
Hi @dansum212, The Speaking test for both paper and computer are face-to-face with an examiner. This is the best way to measure your speaking skills as it takes a more realistic approach: a life-like conversation with an examiner.
Hi @dominicsoore8967, IDP IELTS offers free masterclasses to explain the test format and provide advice on common mistakes to avoid. Hosted by an IELTS expert, these 90-minute classes run through what to expect on test day, the test structure and the marking criteria: ielts.idp.com/prepare/masterclass?
Hi @anujanuj-nc7dh, thank you for your question! Generally, it's best to book your IELTS Academic test in advance to ensure availability. However, last-minute bookings might be possible depending on seat availability. We recommend contacting your nearest IDP IELTS center in India for specific details and assistance.
Is it possible to do your ielts without passport while you have ID card and also have passport reciept (reciept you get when you apply for passport ) In Pakistan
Hi @IshaNawaz-s5o! On your test day you will need to have the same identification document that you originally registered with. Most test takers use their passport, but in some cases, a National Identity Card is accepted for registering for the test. If you do not have a passport, we recommend you contact your local test centre to discuss your options for identity requirements.
