Form is very rarely the reason for injury. Doing too much, especially too soon, is far more often central to injury occurring. Huge misconception amongst newer/non (even experienced) lifters. That said, getting a coach would be a good shout for reducing the chance of injury, but mainly for load management, not form related, reasons.

From my experience though, most young guys love to train close to failure too often and with too much per session volume. Its more often those squatting 225lbs, not 5/600lbs, doing too much without giving their bodies (particularly connective tissue) time to adapt to new training loads

I'm literally in the same situation. I always had back problems, a stiff neck, and left shoulder pain. I played sports all my life and got in 2 major car accidents. My spine was messed up and my nerves were damaged to where it made parts of my neck and left arm numb. Also hard to breathe but I didn't realize till after treatment. That crunchy shoulder noise is literally what I had. It all felt funny but never hurt so I ignored it. I was 17 then and now I'm 20 and it got worse to the point where I have had sleepless nights and the pain wouldn't let me think straight. I'm going on my 3rd month of seeing a chiropractor and physical therapy. After my 2nd intense session, anytime I would get excited or angry I would get very lightheaded because my brain was used to much lower nerve signals sent to my brain. My chiropractor told me he was amazed I went that long in the condition I was in and thought I was fine.

Depending on the cause of the “grinding” and “popping” you may never be able to make it stop and in fact often time that’s normal and ok. If you’re concerned I’d recommend seeing a physio or a doctor (if you think there may be an actual injury present), but generally speaking knees, shoulders, and many other joints pop and make a pseudo grinding sound in a non-pathological way so if you’re not feeling pain or instability or some other symptoms when the shoulder pops or grinds I wouldn’t sweat it unless of course there was a particular incident in which you were injured and the shoulder started doing that afterwards.

That thing about the atlas bone was crazy. I have the same thing it turns out, just switch the sides. You could feel the bone on my left side, but not on my right. I've felt that my neck/head isn't really in balance(where it wants to be isn't the correct place to use the mans own words). A couple of years ago I had Bell's Palsy affecting the right side of my face and ever since then my hearing in the right ear have sometimes been a little sensitive and I sometimes feel a tingling sensation there. Bell's Palsy is inflamation/swelling of the 7th cranial nerve, which just so happens to go right beside the hearing nerve, and when the 7th cranial nerve gets swollen it will press on the hearing nerve and you guys get where this is going...
As I lay here in bed and tilt my head to the left to "even out" the Atlas bone I can feel something happening in my ear, my shoulder suddenly feels a little less rigid, my right side of my hips(which have been ridiculously tight) started to loosen up a bit, my left side(going all the way from shoulder and back down to hips and even feet) feels a bit more responsive(for a long time I've had issues with mind-muscle connection on my left side).
    Simply crazy

No one over explains things like a chiropractor over explains things. I’ve literally told my chiropractor, “I get it. Just fix me.” lol
But I totally understand and respect the professionalism and desire to explain things to a patient.

All chiropractors sound like Bob Ross making a painting, when they’re explaining and doing adjustments

I like how this chiropractor speaks, a lot of metaphors and analogies when explaining things. Referring to disc pain as discs deciding to talk after years of having endured a secret
