Carin, Your video is lovely....wonderful touches and I love the way you position each item just perfectly. Also love the peaceful music and feel of your videos. Happy New Year!
I was going to mention the items I love most in your video, but since it is practically all of them I shall refrain!😂. Your coffee/hot chocolate bar is indeed cozy and a lovely sight first thing in the morning. I want to finish putting away my Christmas and getting the house cozy before our winter blast that we are to get this coming week. Stay warm.
Your presentations are lovely and I enjoy watching. However, I personally love a palette of whites & neutrals so I watch for any accents of lighter items. Great work, Karin.
I always love what you do in the pantry. You have the best pieces. I have the Currier and Ives plates and use a basket to hold the platter and pie plate along with two other ironstone platters. I used a coffee cup today next to my sink to hold a scrub brush. Those cups barely hold the 6 oz for hot cocoa. And more than likely I'd be wearing it if I'm walking around. I also use a lot of pine cones this time of year. We have two acres surrounded by a double row of 40 ft white pine so pinecones are always available. You have just the right amount of space for decorating and practicality. Looks great!❤
Ohhh that sounds beautiful!! I have another blue Danube tea cup that has a large chip out of the top…and I use it for scooping laundry detergent. It looks so pretty inside the glass canister. My first Currier and Ives pieces were inherited from my grandparents…and I loved them so much I pick them up whenever I find them for a good price. We have a little less than two acres…but we have several pine trees as well. I love that I can always go outside and find my own!! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch…I truly appreciate it!
I love it!! That tin is such a great way to add in a touch of vintage advertising and works perfect for the coffee beans. The whole area feels so cozy and personal while also sophisticated and curated. Well done!! It's really sweet to see how you love on your family through decor.
Isn’t that tin adorable!! I found it at a little thrift store down the road from my house (sadly it closed last year)…I think I paid just a dollar or two for it. I love it! I can’t thank you enough for your sweet comment…it put a big smile on face! ❤️❤️
Hello my sweet friend! Oh I just have to tell you this! We were in NC weigh my MIL for Christmas for 9-10 days. She had A sister that passed away several weeks ago, that collected lots of vintage pieces. Her son & daughter are selling her house & have been selling most things from the Inside..whatever family didn't want. We took my MIL over to pick up a hutch & a sewing machine & I got to look around, and found a nice haul. I was picking up some old Christmas tins to out in my tote & one had something inside. It was full of tiny porcelain teaset pieces, from 3 different sets, one has a Victorian picture!! There's tea pots, creamers, plates/saucers, cups.. made in Japan & so exciting!😁 We get to go in the house we'll be moving into in less than 2wks. I don't want to buy much until i see what its like. Weigh it being just A bit older I'm hoping for some built-ins or open shelving in the kitchen & really hoping there's space to decorate above the kitchen cabinets!I really want to collect more kettles, old coffee pots & grinders and even some old tins to put up there! I did get a really old blue speckled, enamel coffee pot at his aunts I have a good bit of decor but our apt in TN was very small & this house is actually the biggest house we've ever lived in, but its not really big by any means! I just know that it'll look like i have nothing, a minimilists!😄 I'm In fact a maximilist by all means.. I'll enjoy filling it up!😁 A hutch will be high on the hunt list! There was A box that had a whole stack of the metal plate stands just like yours & i forgot to go back & grab them when i started packing up the pieces i got🫤 I love all your Pieces! My kettle has the blue & white ceramic handle & top knob as well. I just love the kettles!😊 alone or with greenery or something sticking in them, cute either way! It looks beautiful & refreshed! Always a cozy & inviting home, what better way than welcoming guest with hot coffee, tea or hot cocoa!😊 Carin I've said it dozens of times, you decorate beautifully & make your home cozy, beautiful & welcoming! I always love your videos, i can always find good inspo & lot of great ideas! Thanks for sharing & I pray you have a blessed week!🙏🏻 love & hugs❤🤗
Good afternoon, haven’t been around to watching any of your recent videos and I apologize. Wow what you started the video, don’t really think you understand how beautiful you are!
Happy (belated) New Year!! Thank you for posting today! Your pantry looks awesome!! This is the first year ever that I have 'decorated' for winter. As part of my 'winter' decor, I left burgundy velvet ribbons tied around a couple lattens that sit on my fireplace hearth....I think I'm gonna find some silver blue velvet ribbon as replacements.
Happy belated New Year to you too!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video…and that you were happy to see it! That always makes me happy to hear. ❤️ I love burgundy this time of year…and at Christmas too! I think I may lean towards it more this coming holiday season, instead of the red. It’s just such an elegant color! Thank you so so much for supporting my channel every week! I look forward to chatting!
We will be taking our Christmas decor down next week after our grandchildren return to school. You’ve inspired me once again to use a lot of my winter decor…. I won’t miss my Christmas decorations that much that way. Thank you my sweet friend! Blessings.
Awww I’m so glad!! There was a time that I didn’t decorate for winter at all, and taking down the Christmas just made me sad. Finding new ways to incorporate some of the Christmas greenery and other natural elements really does help to fill the void left by the holidays. Thank you so much for always being here, my friend!!
I found and subscribed to your channel when I came across your Hot Cocoa / Coffee Christmas Bar. I was so impressed that I left you a comment and I also told my sister in another state about your site and she fell in love and subscribed also. It was the best by far that I had ever seen until this video. WOW, and WOW. I had packed up all my greenery and put it all away but when I finish writing this comment Im going to get alot back out. I have a few things already to recreate this as much as possible, like the copper tea pot ,cake stand, tea cups, and crystal sugar and creamers. I like the pictures you placed in as well. From now on I'm not going to rack my brain, I'm just going to see what you did and I'm sure it will be lovely and then copy it as much as I can. You have such a good eye of putting things together. I especially loved the little gold spoons in the crystal creamer. You are a wonderful teacher and an inspiration for me. THANK YOU!
Ohhhh my goodness!! You really made my day! ❤️ I can’t thank you enough for choosing to be a part of this little community and for bringing your sister along too! It truly means so much to me. I know that my style isn’t necessarily the norm, so in the beginning I was worried that people wouldn’t watch. It has warmed my heart finding so many kindred spirits, like you, who appreciate it. Its funny that you said you had packed away your greenery and now were headed to get it back out. Earlier in the week I did much the same thing. 🤣 I may have to grab a few more pieces back out when I start working on the rest of the house. I’m pacing myself! Anyhow, this is getting long! 🤣 Thank you so so much for being here!!! ❤️❤️
This made me smile so BIG! Knowing that there are those out there who look forward to these videos, makes me so happy. ❤️ Thank you so much for being here!!
I love how you decorate your pantry for every season and holiday. It’s such a beautiful and cozy space!
Carin, Your video is lovely....wonderful touches and I love the way you position each item just perfectly. Also love the peaceful music and feel of your videos. Happy New Year!
This is so lovely it should not be in the pantry but showcased for everyone to see!!! Hence this video😉Excellent work!
