In order to add more Vehicles just click on the edge and on the sidebar you can see the number of vehicles increasing.

How do I remove elements that I don't use such as connectionManager, annotations etc from my ned file. I am not able to delete them.

What is the error that you are getting ?
@@thedefeatedengineer gedit is not recognized as internal or external command. Which location should i go and run gedit command to wipe this error?
You are trying to run OMNeT on a Windows machine. Thus gedit will not be recognised. You can use a normal editor to add the code.
