I got hemangioma all over my body when I was born. I didn’t remember much as I was too young, but my mum showed me the photo of me, I had serval big and small tumors all around my body. In a bad day, the tumor ruptured and caused lots of bleeding. Now I’m 22, pretty healthy, studying physiotherapy at uni. Don’t give up! I still have multiple scars all around my body. Some kids laughed at me when I was a kid but I just said: it’s part of my body and it makes me look unique and cool!!!!
Amazing life altering surgery. A friend whose daughter had one on her lower lip and her own daughter had one and the same place. A surgeon in Cali did an excellent job on it

But, my grandparents were dwarves, some of our family & friends have genetic irregularities, & we instinctively thought she's beautiful the way she was. We've been to 3rd world countries & seen much worse that went untreated. But we also understand how debilitating it would be in today's society, had she not received reconstruction. She sure came out of it really very well.
