I love all your videos, but the thrift store vids are my favorites. The box of Pfaltzgraff mugs . . . My mom was particular about the shape of her coffee cups. She liked them to be wide at the top. I bought her some of that same pattern. You would have thought I had given her a million dollars. She used them all the time. Thanks for the memory of her smile. ❤️
I love it when thrifters fix the shelves 😊 Setting matching figurines together or punch glasses next to their punch bowl. You found some amazing stuff again! Love that Bavarian bowl and that adorable creamer! Oh and the box too, that is gorgeous. And that Noritake dish! That is exquisite! 💖 ~Caroline
Always with love!! EEKKK you picked up a Longaberger basket and then put it back down!! Please consider, With Banana Box opening you will have an infrastructure need. These baskets are very hardy and will withstand a lot. Think a pen holder, a pulled tag holder, game controller holder, scissors and tape and so on. I have them all over my house in drawers and cabinets. Don't think about resale, think about keeping your life squared away. And for the .99 that the basket was priced at a pen cup at Walmart cost more. Again always with love to you and yours.
I've been watching you for several months. I have to say I am so jealous of all the stuff your Goodwills have there. Ours are always picked over and they don't let that much glass sit on the shelves. They routinely break it up in the back and throw it out.
I think I could have stayed in that Goodwill the entire day. My stars there were some great pieces. The dark painted Noritake dish was also my favorite. Thanks for taking us along!
I bet I'm not the only one who finishes watching a CLL shopping video and then hops right on over to the Banana Box ebay site. I love seeing what's there and thinking "Oh I saw when she bought this or that!" Fun, inspiring, and learning lots. Thanks as usual, Jocelyn.
Thank you Jocelyn for filming so much content. I needed this, I'm at home with four boys and my husband has the vehicle for work all day so I'm "stuck" at home . I miss the pottery and littles, art finds, I miss thrifting. Lol.. so thank you!
The framed winter scene is The Hunters in the Snow, also known as The Return of the Hunters, a 1565 oil-on-wood painting by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. I have this print. I particularly like it because in shows Currier’s on the pond, a sport which is increasing in popularity around the county and one which my husband i enjoy playing. Copies on line fetch a decent amount.
I love this print; Brughel the Elder and Younger are both favourites of mine. I wish you had gotten it, either polished or roughed up the frame and hung it in your den. You would have loved it even more 😉
The divided dish that looks like wings reminds me of a swan! When you turned it a certain way, the handle looked like a swans 🦢 neck as though the swan is grooming its feathers back behind one of its wings! Very beautiful!
Salt cellar and pepper shaker was very popular in the late Victorian/Edwardian period and is the precursor to the condiment set. It was the interim period before pouring salt became available, allowing for salt and pepper shakers. They're often quite valuable and they remained popular in Europe, especially Bavaria/Prussia/Germany well into the mid twentieth century.
Be sure to go to the comforter section as soon as you go in the GW. Put the fluffiest blanket you can in your cart to put your ceramics in to prevent breaking while shopping. Then put it back when they are ringing you out!😄
i finally went to my city's amvets and it was LOADED! i got around 89 dollars worth of stuff. The shelves were loaded with china cup and saucer sets that are in perfect condition. it was amazing.
I giggle when I watch you with voice over because I hear you say things like “it’s very shiny, or I just like it” and all I can think of is the black bird from the movie The Secret of Nimh” 😁😁🤣🤣♥️♥️
Went to my local Goodwill for the first time since they reopened yesterday and they had nothing. I'm glad for our animal benefit thrift store where I prefer to spend my money anyway and another volunteer charity shop.
I would love it if you would do an update on some of your thrifted finds and how much they sold for. It would be interesting to see what you paid for them and then what they sold for.
Im glad you said it was your camera bluring the film i said to myself Kath youve done too much in the garden pack you tools away so i carried on watching drinking my large cup of tea. You did well at the new place there was some realy pretty pieces.
Jocelyn...it is very hard to see the imprint STERLING on those glass coasters.I purchased 4 a while ago. and needed a magnifying glass and searched along the rim...and Voila. There it was...☺️😍
Hi! This is exciting! A new Goodwill! That first yellow plate is worth buying. Depression glass. I have the matching rose bowl. I believe the pattern is Baroque, but I could be mistaken on the name.
The picture is ‘Hunters in the Snow . Painted by Pieter Breughel. A very famous Flemish painter . Its one of a serie that depicts the months of the years. I believe this represents January.
I'm still too afraid to go thrifting (I have immune issues) so I really appreciate how you shop for me😁~ crowded shelves are wonderful, it's truly like treasure hunting!!! Thanks for the great videos!!!💗
Hello Jocelyn, you do realise I am sobbing right now because your video has ended? I have to wait another day to see the video of your other trip to Goodwill? Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
I never knew,,and should have...the name of the egg collecting basket...lol. Our goodwill I finally went to...a little blue about it but going to try a mix of about 10 things I got for 20 for both a sale and needs for me and mix with 49 years if stuff of mine for a garage sale...and then ... I melt to bleeding hearts...on that box...xo...GREAT place you have there. Adore the Mary Gregory!!
The milk glass shakers with the apples on them are Fire-King!!! Fire-King is my jam! I would faint if I found those in a thrift store. I GASPED OUT LOUD when you grabbed them. Lol. 🍎🍎🍎🌟🌟🌟
I have to tell you that lm from North Poconos and took my mom on a thrift/antique store adventure in Lancaster/Harrisburg/York/Hershey trip two days, 19 shops, and your area is the Mecca of thrifting! Very impressed with Community Aid and Reuzeit stores! Even went to Finders Keepers! Filled my car up! Thank you for making videos! Highly recommend the area, people are soo nice and farmlands are stunning! Antique Malls are a must!
I prefer your newer videos than the ones from the past. I don’t think you need anyone else for example, friends etc to accompany you. You do quite well on your own. You also seem to have improved your knowledge base.
There’s a Good Will in Waldorf Maryland you might want to check out. It’s not big or have bins. Call first to make sure they are open before you visit.

Nina, down below, has all the facts on the hunting scene - I just read her post. - I merely jumped in to say that it's a very nice print, well matted, and well framed, and you should not have passed it up!
There was a dough bowl I call them on the shelf that you passed by twice. It was a larger cream color with two pink lines, bottom shelf. I didn’t know if you noticed it or not.
🦋This Goodwill had so many nice thing. So glad you bought most of them. They had nice prices as well. I like the bird tea pot. I cabana? Nice. I have an old lamp that you showed a reproduction. Mine has to have the cord replaced, it’s frayed.

I always sell Longaberger pretty well.
I love baskets, I usually gravitate to them at thrift shops.
I saw that too, and said nooooo don’t put it back!!

I’m extremely jealous also. We should move!!
Love how you pair things up that have been separated

I meant to say Curlers on the pond.
The bird on the teapot is a British goldcrest.
Cast iron stove was a salesman sample. I've sold several over 30 yrs. as antique dealer.
I used to play with one at my grandmas house. 😂
Crazy Lamp Lady me too !
I still have the one that was given to me as a child 55+ years ago. I have all the parts except for the silver colored "burner" lifter.

It always amazes me that you can find such lovely pieces at Goodwill, like the French. painted dish.
I never see really good stuff at our thrift stores. I guess it’s the area of the county you’re in.
My mother had a stove similar to that one. I played with it when I was little. Wish I still had it. Definitely an antique.
Bummer on the bird figurine. So cute that it had the hungry babies.
Love that you teach us, and some of us can teach you as well. I’ve learned a lot
Ah,I agree the Noritake dish is gorgeous!
The teapot is beautiful and the Italian pottery plate is gorgeous! Good picks!

Great idea!
The way you precariously stack items in your cart always gives me anxiety.
Somehow nothing breaks.
You have more luck than I do.

I think the Ford "possible salt and pepper shakers" may have been small bookends. You fill them with sand and seal them.
Ah a wiggle before the violet dish went in the cart ! Anyone else notice the ‘I’m happy with this piece’ wiggles?
I’m with you the more cluttered the goodwill, the best treasures to find! 🥰
I would love it if you would do an update on some of your thrifted finds and how much they sold for. It would be interesting to see what you paid for them and then what they sold for.

Yes 😊 Very famous piece.
That she didn't know, but she really liked it, proves she's got the magic eye! Such a great picture. I've stared at it many times.
I am in love with the hand-painted Noritake dish!
Oh no! The Bavarian reticulated plate is chipped! Hope you caught that before buying.

The old photograph you found is of Lincoln Cathedral in Lincoln England.
If you see glass with deer flowers... that the dishwasher has was wrack....put cooking oil on them for a day/night and wash them in the sink.
you are so fun to watch moving things around so they will be purchased together! I do that too.
That is the prettiest Noritake I've ever seen.
Isn’t it beautiful!
That big dish is a swan the handle is the swans neck and head !
Oh my gosh! Its a swan?! That is so cool! What a find! Now I gotta go to an instant replay...
It does look like a swan. I have the lobster one that she mentioned.
A few days ago I picked up over 60 pieces of silver overlay. I don't really like glassware but it was so cheap I just couldn't leave them there.
