I recommend waiting until they are fat with protein and then feed them to your fish.
I have a big bin outside that often fills with rain and we find mosquito larvae inside alot. My mum catches them all in a net and gives them to the fish we have and they love it.

What I basically did was get a tub and put Substrate and vacuum graceless a crapload of bacteria from the Substrate of an established aquarium and dumped it all in the tub. I added some floater plants and might put another plants in it. What do you think? How long will it take for me to see some free live foods? Thanks! You are talented and so creative!
Lol I had to cover my phone screen when Steff showed the up close pic of the mosquito larvae. Those wrigglers look creepy enough to me in the water so I def probably would be scarred for life if I had to see what one looks like under a microscope. 😵
Mosquitoes actually breed in stagnant fresh water so you'll less likely see mosquito larvae on rivers or streams unless there's a part where it doesn't flow rapidly. Although this is a good way to feed your pets, moderation is still key. Mosquito breeding in small quantities should be observed. I wouldn't also advise this to areas where mosquito related diseases spread often. The risk is much greater than the reward.
I accidently did that... well i had a pond like in our backyard.. manmade. I wanted some plants from there because its like covered and we have 2 fish in there. I had no that there were in there and i accidently got some in my little clear pot with plants. Yes i put them back for the fish to eat
I feed my goldfish this food called Bug Bites. It's made from various bug larvae. I feed them it along with veggies and they are super healthy, but is definitely not free😂
