ooh i love this idea. i could totally see how you chose each deck. we're certainly similar in age because i could relate so so much of what you were saying! i love how when you laid them all out the backs matched each other so perfectly. honestly i'm looking at bianco nero wondering why i dont have it since it fits my vibe for a black and white rws deck that's not pamela colman smith artwork. i love the linework. i'm not sure what i think about the sexiness lol but the trim you've done here just makes the deck so stunning to me.. going to give it another look for sure!
Oooooh ho ho, the backs of these decks all blend soooooo good. Drool. I find the sensuality of the Bianco Nero contributes to its tone. The scantily draped women of 3 Cups look judgemental and exclusionary as hell, making that card more feel like a party you're not invited to than a heartwarming celebration of friendship. It's really good! Kinda a cynic, but lovely anyway. And I highly recommend keeping the box if you trim it and keep the sharp corners. Taking it out of the bag is a PAIN. Those edges catch soooo bad.
