Don't eat, don't sleep, just put it on repeat! You're probably the main reason Goddess of Love was ever on my radar-that you continued to sing its praise long after the Valentine's season told me maybe it's just that good! I admit I find the guidebook to be esoteric to a fault, but I think that's probably a me problem. Fifth Spirit is exactly as good as everyone says it is and I'm thrilled I caved on it finally.
Happy belated pride!!! 💐 Its too hot where i live in june so we celebrate in September 😆 loved hearing from you about your month and practice as always 💕💕💕
My daughter bought Brat on vinyl and plays it on the record player in our dining room all the time ☺ I grew up in a cult, too. Nothing as serious as what your dad went through, I don't think, but yeah. I get it. I went through a lot of feelings of guilt when I started practicing witchcraft and entering the occult world. 💙
Your daughter has amazing taste 😂 My condolences for your cult time, but my props for working through the scars that shit leaves you with. No need to downplay what you went through-it's no competition, and what you experienced obviously affected you. Thank you for sharing some of it. 🫂
Just wanted to share that I also grew up in a cult. It was in Northern California. Not a religious one though. I wish I had people to talk to you about it. It’s like this dirty little secret that nobody in my family wants to talk about. But for purposes of healing, I think anyone who grows up in a cult needs that support. Anyway, just wanted to share that with you since I saw your comment.
Hi Roaen. When you were talking about your mom and you said “I had a tumultuous childhood and I take it out on her…“, it really hit a cord with me. I spent about 25 years being angry at my mom because of my traumatic childhood. It wasn’t until she turned 80 and developed pretty severe dementia, that I had to let it all go so I could take care of her. It was a pivotal and very healing time of my life. I am also a cult survivor, but mine was not a religious cult. I wish we could sit down, have a cup of tea, and share stories. I don’t have anybody in my life I can talk to about being raised in a cult, or about my tarot practice. I love your channel so much!
Your comment really moved me. My mother is a transplant patient and I don't know if she'll get the opportunity to develop the dementia that runs in our family. I can't hold on to this bitterness if I want to enjoy her life with her, but letting go isn't easy. High-control groups are SO PERVASIVE. There's so much shame attached to surviving them, it's ridiculous and harmful. If you want to, you can email me at broaenaf at gmail dot com. We aren't alone, and we don't deserve to be haunted. ☕
9:38 LOL "I'm a little insulted" I LOVE that you acknowledge it's the artist's perogative to do what they like and also appreciate your opinion 😊 I loved near Dallas TX for 2 years and Katy TX from 5. Far preferred the Houston area to Dallas and miss it every day! I'm in Oregon now and we also celebrate Pride in August. I was told it was to avoid competing with Juneteenth. But who knows. 💕
The guidebook could've easily been smaller and I would've paid more for the deck to have it included. HOWEVER. I understand that I don't understand everything! Yeah, Houston superiority!! (We hate Dallas for some reason? I'm assuming money.) But Houston is kiiiind of amazing. I adore this city. Juneteenth avoidance makes sense!
I had to pause mid video and put everything else I have to say on the back burner to comment on the politeness of your, “excuse me-s” and “pardon-s”. Am I the only Texan that screams Texan to? You come off so outspoken almost always. Which I love! But your manners remind me of the manners my Mom was raised on in East, Tx. Which I love! If there’s one thing that woman taught me well it was how to be polite- I just added the ‘when I choose to be’ part lol
@@RoaenHere I’m that way with y’all!! Like I just can’t help myself. My Mom is from Tyler and my dad is from Tomball so we can prob relate in so many ways!
Brat is so good, I've had it on repeat! Love to see Fifth Spirit and Goddess of Love, such good decks.

A September night parade sounds much less awful than a Texas August night. Y'all got the right idea. Thank you for watching!! 🥰
Fellow Houstonian! Love your content 😊

@@megadele65 We're gonna have to start a support group or something. I'm so touched by y'all's presence on my channel.

@@RoaenHere haha I never understood the animosity between Houston and Dallas either.... But yeah Houston > Dallas 🥰
