- I wrote this song because so many have lost so many. So many precious babies, children, young people, adults... It's never the right time to lose someone you love. It's hard. Death is a part of life none of us enjoy. Grief never ends. Ever. As life goes on, there is a gaping hole. Reality sets in. Some days are easier than others. Some days hurt a lot and others not as much- but that loss never leaves. Especially when it is your child or a young person. This song is for anyone grieving a loss. I wrote this for you! You are not alone!! I hope it helps you heal. I hope it helps you grieve. I hope it helps you remember certain special moments. I hope you leak some love as you listen. It's normal and ok to cry. It hurts so bad, because that love is SO deep. I hope it helps to heal your heart along your journey of grief. You are NOT alone and you are ALWAYS loved. I'm praying for you!!!!!!

On October 28, 2021, I lost my 13-year-old daughter, Gracie, due to medical complications. I miss her so much. Today, 10/25, she was hospitalized. She coded in the hallway going to the OR and only lived because of mechanical ventilation and the ECMO machine. On 10/27, we had to make the decision no parent should have to make. On Thursday, 10/28/21, at 5 p.m., surrounded by family and friends holding her and singing, she took her last breath. We later learned that a rainbow appeared over our church at that exact moment. Somewhere Over the Rainbow was one of her favorite songs.

Dedicate this song to my dear Son Baby Caleb-Jones Odanga 7½ yrs. During a school trip on 08/08/23, he fell off a Merry-go-round swing and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Diagnosed brain dead and later on 01/09/23 succumbed after 25 days in ICU. Left my family ruined. Was the only child. Days have been unbearable considering he went to school healthy and full of life only to receive a call and meet him in ICU conversing and fighting for his life surrounded by a panel of neurosurgeons. As a human being I've lost so much

I dedicate this song to my precious dad. We lost him August 03, 2022. It broke my heart watching him suffer for 2 years with Stage 4 Lung Disease, then when I lost him, I thought I would die. I was always a daddys girl. I promised my daddy I would get back in church. I did a couple months after he passed away, I got baptized and got saved. I believe if God hadn’t of drawn me back in when he did, I probably would have died. He’s an on time God. I will keep your memory alive daddy as long as I have breath in my body. I'm so, so sorry for your loss 😢, I know the sorrow and I know the hurt. I lost my son in 2017, killed in a car wreck on his way to work by a girl texting and driving, he was 26. It still bothers me to go to that place I try not to cry but I break down every time. I know I will see him again and when I do see him again I'm gonna kiss him and throw my arms around his neck and tell him I missed him and tell him that I love him.
