My office EDC is the original Aer Slim Pack at 8.5L 😅, though it can be squeezy if i bring a jacket. The Slim Pack Pro or Pack Pro 20L would be a nice upgrade though
From an owner/user perspective, the one top pocket I find is great for medical: sani, lotion, masks, shot card, travel aspirin bottle, etc. Works well for that purpose IMO.
I've had this bag a little under a month. I bought it to be a small under seat travel bag to hold as much as possible because we know overhead bins are filling up too often. I do looove the quality and look of this bag. You can just tell it's well made. I packed it out and decided was keeping it, but wasn't quite happy with how the headphones were fitting. On a whim, I decided to repack all my items into my Nomad Lane Bento Bag. Both are listed at 24 L, but I was shocked at how much room I had left in the Bento Bag after moving everything over. I was able to bring so much more. So I guess I was disappointed in the space for a travel bag. Buuuut, I do love the bag, and it quickly became my EDC. It is a bit bigger than I need for EDC, but I love all the organization and particularly the pocket layout. I keep looking at the Aer Travel Pack Small and wondering if that might be my better underseat bag, but I just like the pocket layout in this one. I'm going to try again sometime with this one as an underseat bag and really see what I think.
I have never tried that bag I would be curious to see the difference in capacity. But I'm glad you found use out of this bag!! It's a great EDC for a lot of people! The Aer Travel pack 3 small is in my opinion a bit better for travel. Let me know when you try this again hopefully it works better for you!
I use this bag in X-Pac for my personal item for flying when I’m doing 2-bag travel with a roller bag. It’s also my winter work bag for my 12 hour ER shifts.
Great review! I'm looking to buy the AER Travel Pack 3 Small for one bag travel because I'm 4'11", would love to hear your thoughts/review as a fellow smaller lady! Would also love to see what dopp kits/toiletries bags you love (and maybe if any of them are good for makeup and/or jewelry storage). Grateful for Nomad Nation reviews and so thrilled to see reviews for someone smaller like me. 😄
5:50 LOL! 😆 I do sweat a lot too! And I'm also a petite framed gal. Only 5 f, so I'll be checking out your channel often o check on backpacks that might be a good fit for me
whooo! i'm 5 ft too! was quite worried the CPP would dwarf me, but when i got it i was surprised it wasn't as big as i imagined it to be. It's still kinda bulky for EDC if you don't have much to carry, but its a good balance between being large enough to use it for 1 bag travel but not too big that it makes me look like a turtle(to me).
can u do a best minimal tote for a girl to carry her gym stuff or pilates class stuff etc? want to buy one for my sis, she goes to pilates after the office
Excellent review! I'm obsessed with AER products, so sleek and chic. Originally, I was looking at the City Pack but at 14L it's way too small. So then I started looking at this City Pack Pro (the side quick access pocket is clutch!), but at 24L it's definitely too big. So I would love to hear your take on the Flight Pack 3 (Aaron called it the most underrated AER bag and I agree!). The layout is nearly identical to the City Pack BUT it has a capacity of 20L which is the ideal size for EDC and can also double-up as a dope personal item for flights. Aaron's review of the FP3 was more centered on travel use cases (understandably). But can you please do an AER Flight Pack 3 review with a bit more focus on EDC? Because I think this might be THE ONE. Keep up the great work, both of you! -big Nomad's Nation fan from Toronto :)
Thank you! I've actually never used the Flight Pack 3 but it's on my list for future reviews so hopefully it's coming soon and i'll let you know my thoughts :) thanks so much for the support!!
Would love to see reviews on some of their smaller bags! Aer Pro (Slim) Pack or even the City Pack might be a better fit for us petite ladies. Totally agree that 24 is a bit too large for everyday, but too small for weekend! Though, I'd love to see a review on the Able Carry bags, thirteen unfortunately would be the best comparison for the Pro Slim, while the Daily / Daily Plus would be better to compare the CPP to.
What about us busty gals, sternum straps give me a 4 boob look but I need them to keep my straps from falling off shoulders (again boobs in the way). Any ideas or bag suggestions?
That d hook is a perfect spot to latch my machete to. That side pocket was meant for mase spray sonce this is for the city. Ive pulled my machete a couple times on this nyc subway a couple times. I think you're more of a sword girl though
Do you think this is the perfect sized EDC? Let me know in the comments below ⬇

Oh nice!! Personally i loveee the Pro Pack 20L!
Thank you for making reviews of tech gear from a women's point of view!!!
Glad you're enjoying!!

Love your channel btw. Shutting up now 😉
Awesome I love hearing what other people pack their bags with! Thank you!

After moving everything in the Aer CPP to my Bento Bag I had room for an extra pair of shoes, 2 dresses, and a light sweater.
Aer travel pack 3 small please- and a comparison to this one would be very informative
I will add it to the list!
Great review
So happy you're enjoying thank you!
What the. I needed this channel
Yassss!! So happy you're enjoying!

Yes dopp kits/toiletries reviews are on the way!! And stay tuned for the AER Travel Pack 3! 👍
thanks for the support!
Great info. I bought the 28 L Aer Travel Pack and it is just too heavy. I wish they had this one when I was looking
Agreed sometimes Aer products can be thick and heavy, this bag is super comfy tho!
@@GearfortheGirlsYou kinda look like you could be related to Ellie Goulding 😊 🌹
Wowwww thank you!

Sweaty girls unite! This channel will be perfect for you! :)
Agreed sometimes I do find it a bit big for an EDC, but I like having the option of an EDC or a small weekend travel bag. Best of both worlds!
Can you review the aer travel pack 3 small, the 30L. Thanks!
Yes! Coming soon 😁
can u do a best minimal tote for a girl to carry her gym stuff or pilates class stuff etc? want to buy one for my sis, she goes to pilates after the office
Yes! Great idea, I'll look into some tote bags!
@@GearfortheGirlsthanks!
Loved your perspective. I was considering this bag but it’s just too big for an EDC.
Ps. Can definitely tell you and your brother are related 😁
Agreed the size is a bittt too big for an EDC for me. Haha hopefully that's a good thing 😂
@@GearfortheGirls Yes it is a good thing…forgot to add that part lol. You both have great on camera presence; keep up the great work.

I am gonna test out some smaller bags and do a big review of my favorites!! Stay tuned 😌
@@GearfortheGirls Amazing!!!! I'm looking forward to it!
Can you compare this vs the Aer TP3 small?
I will try and add it to the list!!
What about us busty gals, sternum straps give me a 4 boob look but I need them to keep my straps from falling off shoulders (again boobs in the way). Any ideas or bag suggestions?
I know, a lot of these sternum straps are NOT it. I'm on the hunt to find better ones for us gals and i will let you know!
I effing hate sternum straps for this (uncomfy) reason. Thank you!!

Interesting feedback, you are correct I am definitely a sword girl!
why are there so many bag reviewers in Hong Kong.
Big bag community out here!
