Hi Chris! I can’t thank you enough for this recipe. It is quick simple and very tasty. My friend is from Trinidad and when l told him l wanted to make pepper shrimp, he told me to put oil in a pan, fry up ketchup and throw the shrimp in and use Tabasco sauce. He told me to me to fry the shrimp for 10 mins!! Good thing l did not fry it for 10 mins as he told me. When l tried the other stuff he told me it was yucky!! I then found your recipe and l was in heaven. I never told him l found it on your website. Thank you so much for sharing this!! You are amazing!! Thanks for the visuals and the written instructions!!
so I tried this method an add a touch of paprika, cayenne pepper premento peppers, sweet peppers, crushed red pepper touch of oregano, and cilantro an grate some ginger an I must confess my goodness it's hot. mind you I have no hot peppers in it. the basic peppers an ginger with a touch of ketchup an hoy an spocy bbq sauce did the job just right, an it's beautiful in appearance.
Thankyou for sharing this recipe. Love pepper shrimps, always order when I m at a caribbean restaurant. But always waned to learn to prepare it.. Made it the way you instructed and loved it.. So thank again.
WOW.....thanks, I was making shrimp tacos tonight, so this recipe is right on time. Will definitely use for my tacos tonight. I'll make a quick sriracha, mayo & a few other items to make a sauce. TFS
Hy Chris I use to go to ur house with Mark dedrik in Camden NJ I remember buying ur fish burgers and the best veggie burger ever . found u on you tube and Ben a subscriber since love ur food bless and love brother. keep up the good work
Chris you cough while cooking with pepper. I sneeze at some point when I eat a meal containing pepper lol.😂 That's how my family know I sneak pepper into the dinner lol.😂
Thanks Chris, it was so good but the pepper nearly murder everyone in the house. Maybe next time I'll do everything you say but use some pepper flakes instead. I loved how crispy and tasty it was!
yh .that's what my husband said .I did this one earlier on .. you're making me a turn into a paper shrimp head .. thanks for the recipe n reply .. much love Caribbean pot
Just made this with a twist! watched the video this morning, so I had to try it. I used one habanero instead of the Scotch Bonnets. While I followed the recipe up until the end, I made sure to add more cracked pepper into the pan while sautéing. After, with the shrimp still in the pan, I squeezed in some fresh lemon and 1/4 cup Chardonnay, let it reduce, tossed in lemon zest and parsley, then about a 1/4 cup of parmesan! Mixed in some linguine and served it up. I now call it Carribbean Peppered Shrimp Scampi and it will be my new go to! You may call it sacrilegious, I call it one hell of a hybrid! I can't explain the complexity of the lemon and habanero together! 😍 Thanks Chris!!!
Never fail to impress Chris, unfortunately I just did a barbecue with shrimp and other seafood so it may be a little while before I try this but it's definitely going to be done!!!
caribbeanpot I can handle wicked spicy stuff like this, I was born into a family who literally eats packs scotch bonnets (I'm not that crazy though) but I will start off a bit milder and work more heat in when I'm more familiar with the recipe.
I live not to far from Charlie's and I LOOOOOVE their food. It's pretty much the only good west Indian food in the whole of Mississauga. Anyways I enjoyed your video, tfs as always!

things really are hard.
Damn, use a wooden spoon for mixing. Less noise. My grandma would be cussin' you.
wood is for building house, furniture and making fire. Save a tree, use metal.
He could use plastic .
poison!
Wooden spoons save pans.
cheap pans
i feel sorry for your hands and that hot pepper
