Looks like the brothers helped Car Town Kia get a new face-lift at the dealership with all of the shout outs!😂 Please Kia...for the love of God...make LEDs standard on this. Of all of their cars, this is the one that needs it the most because of how the front end is styled. The LEDs on the GT model completely changes the esthetics of the front end.
in our country GT Line is sold only in the maximum configuration and of course with LED. I was surprised when I saw this car from the video.
This design sucks I'm a designer it sucks. Looks like everything else out there nothing strikes me as special about this design.
I’m in a rental 2022 GT Line, 1.6 with cvt. (RIP CX-9 Signature that you guys helped me decide on-young driver in a Jeep hit us from the rear at 50 mph in Atlanta 😢). This is my first time in a Korean product since 1996. I wanted to hate it, but I just can’t. I went in only keeping it in sport mode, but decided I like the mpg of regular mode best. The start/stop doesn’t bother me at all either. The sound system is great for the price point. Infotainment is literally a joy to use. Supportive, comfortable seats are always a plus. All in all, it’s a great package. Thanks for the video. Cheers.

Big thumbs up on the 2022 Soul & review , I like it a lot although I'd definitely think springing for the turbo model is well worth the extra $5K considering all the cool upgrades that come along with it! However, I wish KIA had added a little more contrast as far as color is concerned in the interior to jazz it up a bit. I want to see a review of the Turbo model Guys, Thanks!

I wish they offered full leather (or at least full leatherette) on the Soul like they used to... I'm not a big fan of the cloth inserts.
After this review I went to look as a 2022 LX model and it had no upgraded features. No push start, wireless phone charge or the push keyless entry. The screen was the only upgrade from my 2021 gt line soul. And they added a 1k mark up from the MSRP. I walked. Wasn’t willing to go up in models to get the upgraded features.
I checked with a Kia dealer, they marked up $3085 from MSRP. No thanks!
How low is the seat? I would be interested in a Soul, but I wonder about the height of the seat. I don’t want one that is low. Makes it more difficult to get out of the car.

Two upgrades to make this car perfect. Led lights standard on the front and independent rear suspension. The 2.0 base engine is more than

Is the Soul a good car for a single parent with one kid? My kid is 8 but he plays sports so I would need space for soccer/baseball equipment. You think it's enough? thx
Does it have the same defective engine that catches fire 🔥 too? 2016 Kia soul with 87,000km has engine failure and needs $5,000 new engine and they just called me with another recall. I told them I already have a new car and would not be putting a new engine in or needing any recall updates done because I would never feel safe driving that car again.

I drive 40 miles a day to go to work and back home I need a huge gas saver will this car be good ?

My first question would be if KIA solved the issues with the knock sensors on KIA Souls. Mine is a 2014 and they are recommending a $5,000 engine replacement because the problem can not be fixed
Funny you mention this, I just received a recall notice yesterday for a "software update" to let me know when my engine is about to die. I had the engine replaced for my Forte under an undisclosed program Kia has to hide their engine defects so l suggest you look into the possibility of a free replacement. Be firm and change dealerships if yours is refusing. There's abundant info online about this. I got my 2018 Soul prior to the Hyundai/Kia engine fiasco and, although it's been quite practical I have many regrets buying it. Yes, every manufacturer has recalls and defects but these guys have been particularly nefarious and evasive about theirs. Never Kia or Hyundai again.

It's still called the "tiger nose" -- it's just a variation of the many KIA is using to not make their vehicles look like boring stacking Russian dolls. I'm glad EV9 concept looks a bit like the Soul. I've always found this design, especially this last variant, very attractive and very utilitarian (thanks to the straight up back gate.)

Same here in Florida. The dealers are using COVID and chip shortage to milk the public with their "market adjustments" like a cash cow. We passed. We won't pay a $6K mark up. It's like the fools who pay $300K for a $200K home. When the market crashes they're stuck.
We bought two 2022 souls in December. We live in texas and all the dealers in the state are marking up too. We ended up going to Memphis to buy our cars. We bought from gossett Kia. They are selling at msrp and no dealer add ons. Ask for Archie, he is so great to work with. They are just miles from the Memphis airport. The 2022 soul is almost perfect. The sweet spot is the S, gets all the new features the 2021 lacked.

I have a 21 Soul and I love it!
Great vehicle, but you will have the "haters" or "honda fanboys" say its unreliable and has engine fires. These Korean automakers dont make junk anymore......

@@Quirkydude Thats an older Soul model which had engine issues especially with aggressive drivers, Newer Souls are much better......
@@crow_2k11beatsbydre8 I just sold my 2021 Soul EX to Car Max. Got a 2022 Elantra SEL. I drove Souls for 12 years. They hurt me by not covering the warranty.

Also fyi if you drive for Uber... This is probably the cheapest vehicle that also qualifies for Uber Comfort. You will get rides others won't and you will get paid more for them.
New Kia Soul started using oil at 15K miles. Dealer refuses to replace until it reaches 1 qt every thousand miles. It currently use half a quart ever thousand miles. Are you kidding me????
I love my Kia Soul ….I had a 2011 U2 now I have a 2019 LX …one problem ….why is it so noisy when you put down the windows when your driving….sometimes I like to put the windows down on a nice day instead of using the AC put it’s so hard on the ears wise they would fix this

Bought a new 2020 when they first came out. Recently called to change address, was told about a new recall. Would be the fourth. Auto start, stop. Never again.

And later we have to pay $4k for replacing electric battery...in Tesla almost $19k for electric battery replacement replacement
We bought a new 2016 Kia Soul and the engine went poopy in its pants at 72,000 miles.
Mine too at 87,000km, conveniently couple months after the warranty ran out. They can keep their shitty car.
Now show all the value in the base model. 🤣

Not the same style they ruined the body design. No rodent would ever rock it out in this soccer mom boring everyday vehicle. It looks like all the other cereal box buggies out there. I owned the second edition and it was cool except the very cheap Maypop tires. But they need to get away from this design from an artists stand point A.S.A.P.

CVT is okay once you past the break in period and you will hardly know your vehicle has a CVT, gas consumption is good considering its not a hybrid......
