I don't understand your order of trim levels. Sorted by price, the S comes after the LX. The S adds 10 way power seats, dual zone A/C, and the 10.25 infotaiment system with Navigation for $2300. It's another $2000 to get up to the EX for basically adding the sunroof and some plastic cladding. The Sweet spot for us is the S, not the EX. And we got one just coming off the truck (70 miles away). Couldn't find anything other than an LX in 150 mile radius. For us the power seat was a must have and the sunroof was a nice to have. Easy choice for $2000.
Great explanation. I bought a brand new 2022 Turbo yesterday. This is the last year they're being produced so I really wanted to make sure this is what I wanted. In less than 24hrs I'm glad I did. Since it is a turbo I did purchase the maintenance warranty to cover the cost of any repairs. I don't drive hard and take care of my cars so I don't expect to ever use that service but who knows.

The EX needs the Xline's wheels.
You just buy those wheels and put them on the EX. Now your Kia Soul EX is custom
Only things I really want not on the base model is bigger tires and a green color. All the other stuff is useless to me.
