I was going to try and use the streaming PC feature on an old PC that I spent days configuring Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher which I have working as well as launchbox but this looks easier. Now only if I can write a powershell script that will run and sign in arcadenet on my PC automatically upon start up that would be awesome! That way I can place my PC inside the cabinet and power it up and just go to byog since I assume I can just add coinops to a startup folder like i did with hyperspin
Make sure to download the Coinops next Torrent files, a Torrent app like Utorrent for example to extract the Zip files. Then you need to extract the games folder out of the zip file with a Winrar or 7zip app. That is just the beginning. After that you can add tons of more games and systems to CoinOPs Next following the same steps. Mine is up to a 1TB already. I got games all the way from the 70’s to PS3, modern PC games like Tekken 7 and XBOX games. You are not just going to download it directly from Arcadepunks. Since these files are huge! I would suggest to join Doscort and download them from the makers themselves website. Lot of those games at arcade punks have problems. Don’t know why people always leave out info like that for people with less computer experience. 🤷🏽♂️You’re welcome people

hi all, got the software installed, for some reason there's no refresh of the screen on the wireless mode when i flip back to the hdmi direct connection to the PC it's fine - but then the controls on the cabinet don't work - what am i missing?
I have atgames and coinops next and dreamcast controls works just fine on it, the rest of the systems you said had problems are correct with the exception of dreamcast.

Coinops doesn't recognize any input from the arcade stick of the ALU other than the menu and ultra street fighter 4. There is also no player 2. How have gotten it to run?
Sorry man, must have missed this comment. I had the same issue because I had an xbone controller connected to my pc while coinops was running. It defaulted to make the controller p1. If you have a controller (any at all) connected, disconnect/turn it off, then restart the program.
I didn't have a controller hooked up. I had the ALU connected by Bluetooth and direct hdmi. Only other thing I can think of is my wireless keyboard. Everything works fine in coinops menu, but when I start a game no ALU joystick control. Only game with ALU joystick control is Ultra SF4 for me 🤔
The Atgames link wont work I download it and Never recognizes. and the Link to Arcade punks I got that but without the other it wont go plus that Audio link part of the that download kills my audio on my PC weird

I'm having 2 problems... the first is pretty major... when I install arcadenet on my pc and log in... it renders my pc unusable. I can't see the mouse at all... and can't figure out how to fix it other than uninstalling. Second issue... After installing and logging into arcadenet on my pc... I tested connecting to my pc from the AtGames machine... it says it can't connect to the server. Every time I click connect... it says "connecting" then says it can't connect. Any thoughts to either issue?
I just wish I knew if there was a usb light gun compatible to this machine. It would with buying an Aimtrak or something if I knew they’d on it. Any word on this?

@@arv1102 I got it working on mine with the mame64ui emulator. Both screens are displayed perfectly. Sound isn't perfect, but works great other than that.

Whatever the base spec requirements that are needed for the game would all that's needed. For example SF4: CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz or better. RAM: 1 GB. OS: Windows Vista. VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or better (except NVIDIA GeForce 7300) DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 128 MB

I have a pretty cheap Microsoft laptop and I was able to install and run the arcadenet app but when I go to sign in, it just looks like I’m about to connect and that wheel keeps spinning..never allowing me to connect
When I stream from my pc to my arcade I have no controls for coinops next mini, I can go into a game and then no controls any suggeestions would be appreciated, and your channel rocks.

So far I have not gotten the spinner or trackball to work with this build. I probably should have mentioned that in the video. But I'll keep working on it and see if it's just a setting that needs tweaking
Could you do a video or tell us how to add on packs? I added them to the main coinops next folder and they do not show up on the menu. I added pc fighting, lucas arts and scumm vm. I moved them to the collections folder and still dont see them?
Thank you SO MUCH! Got this running on my Legends Ultimate, but can't figure out how to start a game. For example, started with AvP. Loads great, but can't hit 1P start on LU to add a coin. Do I need to use a different controller or keyboard? Also, when I started up, I think my PC added the LU joystick as a controller as it said something about an Xbox 360 controller being installed. Any thoughts? Thanks again!!
You need to make sure you have no controllers connected to your pc before you launch it or they will become player 1. I had an xbox one controller on my pc I needed to shut off at first because I was having the same issue
Good news, I am able to see Next on Arcade Console(if I open it on computer) the buttons on the console do not act as a mouse button here...but that's it... only mouse keyboard on computer upstairs, but the joystick and buttons don't navigate the Next at all, can't play anything(can't even navigate the menus to pick a game) what am I missing(newb) Thanks so much!!

If ArcadeNetLink works, fine. If not... With error 11, 109, 108 etc. Just forget it. Nobody has support or a solution for that beyond the PDF obvious basics. Thats VERY frustrating, and we can see how fragil is Atgames support. They also don’t know how to fix, and they do not update the software for more than a YEAR!

Question...can I just go to the atgames website and log on to arcadenet and this still work? Will my cabinet recognize my lap top that way?
You can scan the qr code with your phone and do it. Possibly on laptop too but you'd need to use the login link provided to match the codes

no, when you use the arcadenetlink desktop app, its free when streaming from your pc. It does not take up any time at all. :) Unlimited play!

Anthony Previti you need to put the add on folders in the main CoinOps folder, but in their respective sub folders.

Don't even bother with this on Coinops Next 2, it's unusable now on the legends ultimate arcade. Latency in the thousands.
