C1261 How To Calibration Steering Angle Sensor Hyundai i30 Elantra Neos | ASP SAS EPS | Launch X431

Hyundai i30, Elektornic Power Steering Clunk Noise (EPS) after replacing MDPS Rubber Coupler, we have an DTC:
C1261 Steering Angle Sensor Not Calibrated (present).
How to Fix it:
- Special Function
- ASP (Absolute Steering Position) Calibration
- Turn the Steering Wheel to straight Ahead position and press OK
- Initializing completed
- turn the ignition Key OFF, wait 15 sec.
- Check the Steering Angle Sensor is within (up or down) 5 degree at data analysis

I have ESP and ESC lights on my i30 and when looking at live data the the steering position sensor data shows a value of 25 . It doesn’t change when turning the steering wheel. Is this a faulty steering angle position sensor of a result of not being calibrated?

@@johnage452 it has c1260 or c1261 or both. I’m not sure as I’m not the one with the scan tool and that scan tool can’t calibrate the steering part of it. It’s just a bit suspicious when watching the live data all the values change when the steering wheel is turned except the steering angle sensor which could be a fault?

I chose general because it is a European vehicle. But the process for the USA is the same.
