Ravel is truly one of the most genius composers of all time, the fact that he could even imagine a piece to be played with as many notes, runs, and techniques is incredible. The orchestral version is also insanely difficult... but sooo much fun! there is so much rubato that putting this piece together with an ensemble makes it so much trickier but is also so beautiful. this piano performance of the waltz is so amazing. i really love all of these performances. keep providing us your wonderful music.

I can’t tell if this piece is major or minor. Ravel is so brilliant in how he changes keys and feeling so quickly in his pieces. At times it feels like a beautiful waltz and at other times it sounds like a nightmare (in a good way)

I don’t play piano but I love to listen and this is one of my all-time favorite pieces. I’ve played Louie Lortie’s solo recording countless times! But it seems as though most of the prominent pianists avoid the solo version and play it with 4 hands, e.g, Argerich & Friere. I was lucky enough to see Anderson & Roe perform it in concert a few years ago; it was overwhelming. 🤩 What a treat to look over your virtual shoulder and watch how the solo version is executed. Wow! And thank you!

It might be possible for a particle to "repeat" actions that aren't his regular state after being taken action excessively, making pressing itself possible. Or it could just be that the note in the lower octave copied itself, or that the wind blew, or that Traum has an invisible third hand, perhaps god really exists.
