TH-cam is sort of a rat race. They take down vids for no reason, make it so that subscribing to someone doesn't give you notifications for that channel (Which is why creators beg people to hit the bell), and the algorithm feels completely random at times. I mean, for me, youtube keeps recommending vids that I've already watched instead of anything new... why??? Chances are, if you started after 2012, it's probably not a good source of income on its own, so people who do it full-time take those sponsors without a second thought. They become used to begging or reminding viewers about those things in the hopes that they can get ahead or please whatever the hell that algorithm wants to recommend their channel. Not saying it's acceptable behavior btw, just saying that youtube itself has cultivated those trends.

That def would have been one of the main steps probably around sponsor, and the shameless 'this game is great I've been playing it a lot lately wink wink' plug would probably be 'Raid Shadow Legends' (no idea what it is really, some kind of turn based credit card charge simulator or something) instead of 'LoL'. Although neither game is very interesting, tbh. Honestly, depending on the ratio of how aggressive/shameless the person is compared to how good their actual content is, I've completely avoided many youtube channels for this behavior in spite of the type of content being something I'm interested in. Gamesack is definitely exceptional for integrity in this kind of stuff, though, for what that's worth.
It still blows my mind that Game Sack is still so low key on youtube compared to how long GS has been around. Would really like to see GS and Joe acquire 500k subs and beyond! yeah that skit was hilarious and shows how bad a lot of youtubers get with this stuff. especially the recent-ish trend of making like a 5 minute intro to a 10 minute video in which the person never really addresses the title of the video. that is the worst form of clickbait!
That would be great, but with TH-cam I think he might end up with a copyright strike, so I would say post to Bitchute, Rumble, or Odysee, and just let people know about it.
There's a homebrew game in development called "Mega Man: The Sequel Wars" that remakes Mega Man 4, 5, and 6 in the style of Wily Wars for the Genesis, but also adds plenty of improvements and impressive new content over that game. Lot of cool stuff with it that could be worth looking into.
After laughing hysterically at that after credit skit, it made me realize I've never heard you waste time with stuff like that in the 10 years I've watched the show. Appreciate every episode packed with informative and entertaining content from start to finish.
Just wanted to comment to say I’ve been obsessed with GameSack for years and it’s easily my very favorite channel on TH-cam. Imagine a world where the original G4 tv channel never jumped the shark and the prime time block was an hour of game sack and AVGN
The ending is 99% of YT videos condensed into a few minutes. I dont mind them asking, but holy crap, there are more words than 'smash' that can be used for the action trying to be achieved. A little variety would be an improvement. But, Joe hits this out of the park as always!
Lets a take a moment and appreciate how Joe has maintained the quality standard of this show all these years and the consistency of the schedule. It's the first thing I watch on Sundays at 5:00AM as I started my day. 💖💖💖

The new 60fps Star Fox 1/2 hacks are starting to look REAL promising. Higher framerate but without a sped-up game so it just looks smoother, as we'd all hoped.

As of a couple of weeks ago, the latest version of the MSU1 hack of Super Street Fighter II includes the heavy damage (danger) music code. With regard to emulators for MD+ hacks, they work perfectly on Genesis Plus GX in Retroarch.

This channel is fantastic. There isn't any video from Joe that I haven't enjoyed. He captures all the footage himself. I can't even imagine the collection of consoles and games he must have at home. And it's very entertaining. Most nerds are awful when they try to be funny but he pulls it like a pro.
Just the idea of playing a incredible version of Final Fight on the most amazing 16bits console make me a happier person!! The Street Fighter color hacks on the Genesis are amazing, and really show how often developers dropped the ball back in the day when it came to color palettes.
The end of this video is both one of the best and worst things I've seen on TH-cam! Very funny, yet just annoying enough to work as a great critique. Kudos for walking on that slippery rope! As for the video itself, it's as great as usual, Game Sack just never disappoints! I wanna say something about the flickering issue of Super R-Type (and Snes games in general) : Tanooki16 has released a fork of Snes9x called "Snes9x TX" (at least on the Wii), which now has a "disable sprite limit" option. This helps a lot of games have less to none disappearing sprites, and it might come in handy with Super R-Type as well? Anyway, thanks again for this new video, you are another more reason to love sundays!
Yeah. They took one of the worst console versions and made it one of the best. The ROM size only went up by 8 Mb, from 24 to 32. The music is handled by the Genesis FM alone and is awesome. Seriously, some of the tunes are now my favorite Doom soundtrack renditions ever. Makes sense that someone already made a PC version hack where you get these Genesis FM tunes. The music alone it a tremendous improvement over the original. The game now runs at a very decent frame rate full screen and high res because the new engine fully takes advantage of the dual CPU architecture. They really did a tremendous job with this "hack"... doesn't even feel right calling it that.
That ending though... Brilliant. I hope you never stop making videos for as long as you breathe Joe. Sometimes you are hilarious and the content I always enjoy watching.

definitely dig the SF2 improvements... I'm fairly certain if that rumored PCE+CD version of SF2:CE had come to fruition it probably would've looked and sounded that good! or at least relatively close. though I'm super excited to try the MEGA Final Fight release, definitely seems like a Champion Edition-esque upgrade to OG final fight, I mean they freaking added Captain Commando as a playable character, that alone sold me on this one!!
