Just added in 1.6.3 update that you can now have Clint open geodes when he is upgrading your tools.
That is SUCH a good change and wow 24 hours and my video already irrelevant 😂😂
1.6.3 update?? I Only have the 1.6.2 patch.
and I mean you dont need any coal to break geodes by yourself, it was definitely what I noticed first :D

Someone said, that the horse gets a little speed buff when fed with a carrot. I didn't check it by myself yet.
about eating mayo - there is actually a reaction from NPCs when you eat it in front of them, like "Did you just?.."

He actually does that a lot. It may not be apparent. But the updates we got from 1.5 and 1.6 are all based on mods that were downloaded the most as quality of life improvements. For example the enchants on pickaxe being faster was a change because many people can't do animation cancelling. This and so many more over the last 2 updates show that he puts himself in the players shoes and tries to make it more fun/less tedious for the players. Really impressive that he takes so much effort to do so.

Take heart! After ~20 winter star festivals over multiple playthroughs where I never once got a tea set, I got it from Gus on my very first winter playing with the 1.6 patch!
The Big chests are really really an S+ Tier QOL
8 Big chests with a work bench is a solid setup
Very helpful in early game
also very helpful who love to collect all types of fishes of all 4 qualities

1:56 This QoL is mainly for fixing the iridium scythe melee range. before, when you use scythe to harvest mod, it was impossible to get the middle 4x4 hops. now with the range extended a little bit, it is possible to get all crops within 4x4 hops

The update pathing thing is like Vincent used to have this path where he’d walk through a bush than a fence and up a wall to get to the playground

I just started my 1.6 game with a Beach Farm and a black cat. That cat looks cute as hell on the beach 💗 I won the egg hunt and plopped the hat right on that lil guy

@@SpellThiefGames seriously 36 diggity dang pigs each set of 3 pigs named with various vowels in their names, for example Porkchop, Porkchip, Porkchep and my favorite “Porkchap” and each one needed to be painstakingly dragged to the barns at the freaking bottom of the farm which took well over 40mins

I have minor wants:
1. Widen the door to the farmhouse, at least to match the staircase.
2. An alternative method of picking up/moving furniture.
3. Dump all contents into a chest 😁
I do not decorate my house because I don't want to be trying to access a machine or the fridge and all of a sudden have a couch or painting in my hotbar.

i only started playing stardew a few days after this update dropped and i can’t even imagine playing without some of these mechanics 😳
i’m also very grateful they added a black cat. i even named my farm “Black Cat Farm.”
I didn't even know clothes were gendered in the first place.
Like I'm positive I've seen people put their male character in skirts before.
I thought so too… was shocked to see that in the list!
There were a few shirts that had male and female variants. I think that is what the change is referring to. Skirts have been available for everyone, though.
Regarding 71, cabins also no longer need materials to build, just the gold.
I hope the Dev would add updates about the children being helpful. Like, them growing up to help you around the farm. It's ok if they reach only at the age of 18 (IG timeline). Also, adding the wife or Husband NPC's helping you out in the farm too and more.
Oh i thought sword changes were the southern swing hitbox got extended cause before it matched up with the blade itself but was perceived as short when it was the same distance
I could be wrong but when testing it I felt I had more space when swinging south but I could be delusional lol
@@SpellThiefGames I think before the hitbox lined up with the sword model and now it's slightly longer when facing downwards but I skimmed the patch notes

Just so you know, if you skip the pet adoption scene, it automatically gives them a name. Idk if you can change the name.

I hate the Cinderclown Shoes update. I used to wear them daily before I got the Mermaid Boots, and the sound they made would definitely drive me crazy.
That is fair! Luckily you can use the forge (I think) to still get the look of the shoe without the sound but I suppose that doesn’t help with the difference in stats. Just an idea!
The mobile is still in 1.5

It's a bug / oversight that some people would get. You marry them at 10 hearts, but a spouse can have up to 13, I think. The day after you marry them, they suddenly have "minimum hearts" with you, and that made them upset because the game thinks you were neglecting them.

Someone commented a few days ago and let me know I’m glad to have it pointed out to me because yep never using 88 again since there are some pretty strong connotations to it (both positive and negative) so best to just avoid. Thank you for sharing your insight I appreciate it!

Keep in mind that you can get the sapling back instead of destroying it now. That means that not only can you relocate them, you can plant them for a season, then dig them up and sell them. You will get more money this way. So in a way, they got the opposite of nerfed.

there is actually good reason for why it comes out on pc first. he has to code it all over onto consoles / mobile when its completely okay. if he released the update at the same time any bug fixes would have to be done on EVERY platform. So console and mobile updates get released later on once everything is much cleaner/polished to save the work
