The type of shampoo and conditioner used makes all the difference because they're not all made equal. I've been using the Salon Guy Volume shampoo and conditioner for almost 2 months now and its exactly what I was looking for. Volume shampoos tend to make the hair sticky and dry but not this one and the conditioner is super light that rinses clean & quick without any oiliness or extra unneeded slickness because its silicon free. I shampoo and condition my hair everyday 99% of the time and have yet to experience any issues with either. I also tend to alternate between this shampoo and my old volume one every 5 days to keep things fresh but with the same conditioner.
@@gagalover2k10 depends on your lifestyle I would say. Like if you got a very physical job and you don't shampoo, then you are gonna have some dirty ass, greasy hair
@@dannyv-cq2lm that’s true - to a certain extent. Even with a physically demanding job, you can get away with shampooing every two to three days. Conditioning every day is just too much and speeds up the need for the hair to be washed. When it’s stripped of its natural oils, your scalp goes into overdrive to replace the oils stripped away, leading to a vicious cycle of needing to be washed every day. Using a good shampoo and conditioning once a week, using either a light leave in conditioning spray or clarifying shampoo in between washes will prolong your hairs life cycle no matter the lifestyle
@@gagalover2k10 I have always shampooed my hair on a daily basis because its semi-oily, difference now or at least for the past 2 years that I started using a proper shampoo and conditioner. The volume shampoo I use is Paraben, alcohol, SLES, SLS free and then the salon guy volume shampoo that I switch to every 5 days is even better than the other. I also use the same brand volume conditioner with premium ingredients and silicone free, meaning that there is no artificial slickness or oiliness involved. Sure, I can go 2 days without shampooing if I'm just chillin at home but there is no way that I'll shampoo 3 or 4 times a week, or just wash it with water and call it a day, ain't no way. Hair care is not one shoe that fits all, we're all different and what works for many doesn't necessarily means it works for all.
As someone with thick hair that has a lot of unmanageable volume weighing my hair down is NOT an issue. I actually apply deep conditioner in my hair and scalp for five minutes and it helps me tremendously in managing my hair.
Im guilty of blobbing it right on top of my head LOL, I have done that before. But yes, most of the time I just put the conditioner on the bottom half of my hair and lightly everywhere else.
My wife has super frizzy hair. We’ve tried seemingly everything; conditioners, hair mask, cream, mousse, oil, serum, and no matter what her hair always comes out the same. I am frustrated as I’ve tried really hard to help her with it and I feel like none of my ideas have been good enough. Any advice would be welcome.
I am no expert on hair, I’m 16 and I have barely any experience since I got into how to properly style and take care of it a few months ago My hairs been frizzy all the time, I would try it all but it didn’t seem to work. I’m not sure if this works on women but has she ever tried to use hair gel? When I used it, it got rid of my frizzy hair. You just need a little to do this too so you don’t feel greasy from the hair gel. Blow drying also has seemed to help me aswell I hope this could help expand some ideas on how to fix the problem. I hope you and your wife live a happy life and have a strong relationshi
I use condition and massage it in the scalp and end of the hair as my hair is very thick and I want it to lay flat when I use shampoo it gets very fluffy and poofs up which I hate.
If you have never used conditioner before, this video will not tell you how.... Like, do i put this on IN the shower, or after? Do I rinse off? Do I leave on and blow dry? I had high hopes from this video title.
You put it on in the shower, and it is rinsed off. There are leave-in conditioners, but it will explicitly say that on the bottle and those are, as the name suggests, left in. They're also usually more of a mist than a thick liquid
Hi mate, I recently decided to have middle parted hair but my left and right part is different from each other, for example; when I blowdry my left side is always gets in shape, in the other hand my right side just gets a bit fluffy and I can't make it wawy. What causes this? and how can I solve it?
@@TH224heh Hey, after searching a bit I found out I have cowlick in front of my hair. I guess you have a cowlick too, because its natural there is no way to fix it, but after parting my hair from my cowlick my hair honestly looks awsome. So I am kinda feelin lucky to have it.
Bro plz fix my hair . My front part of my head has dry frizzy and partially curly hair and the rest of my hair are smooth straight and silky. I don't know if I was able to explain it well
I literally had the same thing. Partially weirdly curly hair on the front and then straight all the way. My hairs got really damaged around 2020. they made all of my hair look bad. I got really tired of them and shaved my head this year on 2nd January, now my hairs are really nice, soft, not damaged, and the partially curved thing went away too.
