    Thanks for posting this because you're right about the FB groups. Some of the officious folks laughed at me for not buying a new convection oven. I have an oven that looks just like yours. I've retired it and was about to give it to a charity. Now it's going to be my "craft only" countertop oven.

    I use a conventional over and I do my tumblers at 375 degrees for 6 mins with air fry setting also. I don't use the shrink wrap because the first time I use them it popped off and burnt the tumbler cause I left it in for too long because I had a smaller oven.. I do have a problem with ghosting at the bottom of my tumblers I was thinking cutting the shrink wrap in half and use them at the bottom of my tumblers to get that extra pressure.

  • @Joferg97
    @Joferg97 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    You're the real deal sir. I wish I could post a picture of my tumbler. I would have put it in the oven for 10-12 minutes which would have caused it to burn. I left it in for 4 minutes and it came out perfectly. I used a glitter tumbler from Walmart to practice with (which isn't for sublimation) and it worked just fine. I used parchment paper and that was scorched but didn't burn it. Your advice is spot on. Thanks for sharing.

    • @pattibaileydesigns
      @pattibaileydesigns 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Can I ask which glitter tumblers you got at Walmart that work with the sublimation? Thanks so much!!

    • @KateBurns923
      @KateBurns923 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The reason the glitter tumbler worked is because the glitter is made from polyester. :) A lot of Cricut crafters began putting white glitter vinyl on their cotton shirts and then pressing infusible ink or sublimation prints over the glitter vinyl because the glitter in the vinyl is polyester.
