Princess of Wales tells Fearne Cotton she feels 'nervous' before speech

- Public speaking can be daunting for the best of us, and it seems the Princess of Wales shares the same nervous feeling many of us get when it comes to important events.
Wearing a purple suit, Kate Middleton arrived at the Shaping Us National Symposium at the Design Museum in London to co-host the event with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.
Kate greeted Cotton with a warm smile.
When Cotton asks the Princess how she is feeling, she replies: “Good, a bit nervous, but excited too.”

It is absolutely okay to feel nervous no matter how prepared you are. That's called stage fright. I once practised my music performance for six months, yet my voice was so shaking on the D day that my teacher had to pull me away to ask WTF is wrong. 😂

Love how during the whole Harry and Meghan situation they said that Meghan didn’t fit in because she was too independent and stole the spotlight. Yet she always came across as out of place and couldn’t do the job of a state representative well. Kate is a total boss, she’s got presence, charisma but also the ability to refocus the attention on the cause she’s supporting.
The power suit, the confident tone, she’s anything but in her husband’s shadow and I’m glad the next woman who’ll take up the role of Queen is so level headed.
