Kate Middleton meets babies at sensory class during royal tour on childhood survey

- Britain's Duchess Kate, the wife of Prince William, began a 24-hour tour on Tuesday to launch a survey of people's views on bringing up children, as the royals carry on with official duties in the wake of the departure of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Kate met parents and children at a baby sensory class in Cardiff about the support they receive.
The Duchess of Cambridge started the "5 big questions on the under 5s" initiative in Birmingham in central England on Tuesday and visited Cardiff on Wednesday. She was later due to visit a women's prison in Surrey, south of the British capital.

She would be at this event regardless of Harry and Meghan. This is Kate charity, so are you highlight as if she going above her duty due to the departure of Harry and Meghan? She just doing a he job for once as a working royal. Since Meghan she has try to do more working events and work more. So she my lose her title Lazy Katie. They all need to carry on their duties for its their jobs.

Meghan had to deal with unfair hateful media and social media trolls as a new member to the Royal family, during pregnancy, and after delivering Archie. She work hard during her first year completing two tours and writing a cookbook as a fundraiser,and a clothing ling to help Smartworks. But she is attach in a bullying negative behavior by the media. The title to this post states that Kate carrying on her event work in spike of the departure of Harry and Meghan. This did not need to be said because this event was plan before this happen. Kate is doing her work as she should. No big deal because Kate is just doing her normal duty.

The two women joined the royal family at different periods in their lives. When MM was doing charity work outside the royal family, Catherine was as well, but as part of the royal family.
Well she did it in front of camera...taking pictures in Africa....another on her actions in her 20tees...lots of hiping for nothing....

She wanted William, the big wedding, the title. But all of this pointless nonsense is part of the bargain. Meghan probably realized this stuff is pointless to. If Kate could stop this madness she would. She prefers to be a stay at home wife, tending to her garden, and attending maybe 10 engagements a year max. Not being put on parade everyday with the intent of looking good, always looking happy, and pretending to care about stuff she knows she has no control over.
What is the purpose of all of these engagements? Kate meets and greets. She might even engage in a 2 minute conversation with somebody. Then what? Do the Royals give the charity a check? It's no different then Trump visiting a bunch of museums or childcare centers everyday. You are excited to see a millionaire or celebrity but then what is the benefit.

They bring attention to causes and charities, and help with raising funds for those causes. Some, like Harry and Meghan, are actually quite effective in bringing awareness to needed change and to support organizations. An example is the athletic games for disabled vets that Harry has initiated and organized every year. Another example is the kitchen that works to support vulnerable women in London that Meghan supports. She worked to develop, publish, and promote a cookbook that brought in millions to the organization and she continues to show support to them as demonstrated when she visited them a few weeks ago. She now is working on a voice over in a Disney movie in order to prevent the killing of elephants in Africa. If you love elephants the way I do, you would appreciate this.
Trump would try to find a way to make money for himself out of the visits. He is a classless oaf.
She is so happy that she got rid of Meghan so she can be back in the spotlight. She was very clever.

Even though I am pro Republican and think Kate should have got herself a bit of a career post uni, she has quietly grown and matured into her role. People who have met Kate from the charities she supports say how invested, keen and well read she is on early childhood development. She has been going to places, talking to educators, people who work in early years, nurses etc and doing more behind the scenes than on camera. She has a dignity, respect for her role, a passion for it and real sense of wanting to make sure all children get the help they need. Kate does not do gimmicks, write on bananas, do look at me behaviour like someone did so the focus was on them. Kate wants to get to the core of early childhood, supporting families with difficulties, hospices for youngsters etc and encourage them to play outside to boost mental health and happiness. She has personality, it is a caring, compassionate, honest, loving one and apparently she has a great sense of humour, but knows she is there to raise awareness and represent the UK on her royal duties. I admire her far more for being quietly committed instead of braying about what she does and being look at me look at me.

@@natashabennett1353 As I said I am anti-Royal and think Kate needed a career post uni. William was working as a helicopter rescue pilot full time, so he was not lazy, but I agree Kate should have done more when they lived at Angelsey and done volunteer work. If I had my way we would abolish them. You however made a stupid observation that Kate is not interested in this. She has been getting very much involved over the last few years in making early years intervention her key focus. I don't care about them in all honesty, I wish no harm, but anybody without fawning over Meghan, because she is part black, can see she has used Harry to put this plan into motion. She never wanted to be on royal life duties, but get the title, the fame and springboard a brand which is distasteful. I rather a person who took their time to be committed, like Kate, than a narcissist, fame hungry schemer who stayed less than TWO years and started branding off the royal name.
I'm sorry, I think she's a fake. NOT BUYING IT! I don't think there's any real warmth inside of Catherine. It's all for show. I could be wrong, but it's my opinion.
