I loved playing ophanim but I have found balancing a shadow realm vs the cult a bit difficult. I personally found inquisitor to be better since removing doubt is a bit more important. But the duality to just felt more right to me thematically.
My understanding is the shadow is meant to be secondary to the kingdom of light you built. You just increase shadow to make your offer to join into the light all the more tempting. So it matters less if the shadow is successful than how much a distraction it is for the world vs the amount of effort and attention you give it. The shadow is about the same importance as a random orc horde. Not part of the main event but another side quest to do if and when you have time.
@ the shadow does kinda become that I really only used the shadow as oph to get a quick monarch out from a small nations capital and then used that to help speed the faith up. Doubt and awareness are the big issues with playing with oph. Getting rid of doubt without the inquisition costs a lot of menace if you don’t have your faiths acolytes up and running. Creating too many theocracies too quickly will speed along the chosen one if not timed up with an infamous agent being sacrificed at the same time.
So happy that Aavak and Dark Aavak could play cooperatively! 😂
Our Cult Great: The Game.
that soothing and calming music while discussing the serpent who would consume worlds is glorious.
"Another one, Another one, Another one!"
Holy fthagn, a new Shadows of Forbidden Gods series! We are blessed indeed!
'Choking builds character' is wild
OH YES, this will be fun. Ophanim is suffering, though, I haven't figured out how to play him yet
Did you know when your the first like it does not update to 1, literally saying to me I don't matter, thanks youtube 🙃
Your explanation and analogy of awareness in the game made me cackle. Choking on a sword and being set on fire, sign of the times right? ;p
