- Today I will talk about the beautiful Lisa Manoban, lead dancer and rapper of the popular Kpop group Blackpink. I will cover the plastic surgeries of Lisa Manoban and what makes her face so attractive. We will explore what is natural and what is cosmetic. #Blackpink #Kpop #lisa

Lisa Manoban is the Magnae (Youngest) of Blackpink, she is also their Main dancer, lead rapper, and sub vocalist. Lisa, originally named Pranpriya Manoban was born on march 27, 1997, in Bangkok, Thailand. She is 5’6” talls and she speaks Thai, Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese, making Lisa Manoban a Polyglot. At the age of 14, she auditioned and got into South Korea’s YG entertainment, making a debut as a member of Blackpink in 2016.. She worked and trained as a Dancer and rapper for 5 years before she got the part.. Because of her Thai origin, Lisa is known by people as “Thai Princess”.
Let’s get to her face:
The first feature is her face with an adorable smile with cheeks puffing out around her lips, a trait that cannot be easily achieved with surgery, and is probably her best feature. Next is her eyes, full of expression and very hypnotizing. Lisa also has glowing skin, that appears to be silky smooth.
Starting with her eyes, we can see some warping, often caused by having an epicanthoplasty,skin is removed from the inner eye corners, making the eyes appear more open. Next, the outer corners suggest a possible canthoplasty to round out the edges. She may also have gotten a lateral canthoplasty which gives a wider cat eye type look depending on how much you raise the eye. She could have gotten a blepharoplasty to remove some fat from the upper eyelid as indicated by less puffiness.
Lisa Manoban’s nose is next. Her natural nose was wide and had a rounded tip. Her nose tip also sat lower before.. She has likely had a rhinoplasty as you can see by the before and after. I realized she may have had more than one rhinoplasty after looking at all the photos. The first made her nose smaller overall, more narrow, and brought in the nostrils. With her thick skin, she needed extra tweaking to get it correct over her new nose shape. A second rhinoplasty was likely done to raise the bridge and looks very much like a rhinoplasty with an implant or graft. In the US, surgeons use part of the body for a graft, and in asia it is more common to use a silicone implant. From the photos I have seen, it looks like it has been a struggle for her, and in many, her nose is misshapen or warped slightly. Surgeons probably had to work hard to get her nose as thin and symmetrical as it is today. This likely took many surgeries to perfect. My heart goes out to her for going through all that.
Lisa Manoban’s teeth started short, small, & square, but now they are larger and rounded, she may have gotten some veneers done.
As for her body and skin, I don’t believe she has had any skin bleaching, just that she chooses to stay out of the sun.

Other possibilities:
Contour makeup, except she does use much makeup. Puberty, However some of these changes were well after puberty so that can’t apply to changes such as her nose. Noses get larger, not smaller with age naturally. Weight -/+, could be the excuse for the cheeks, but that would not affect her eyes, lips, nose, and jaw.
Regardless of procedures and changes, Lisa Manoban is talented, beautiful, & I hope that I can cover other Kpop stars like her in the future.

why did you make this video?... what was the purpose? if lisa really did plastic surgery its her own wish but to slander someone and try to make money of them without actual qualification as a doctor is just immoral and unethical... Even for a doctor the subject has to be examined physically to arrive at a conclusion... even then they can be wrong... so to even make such a video for your selfish purpose speaks volume of your shallow intentions... have you even thought about the effects of this video on lisa or do you just not care?.... if lisa comes out and say she had surgery its ok... but for you to arrive at such a conclusion.... she is already crucified for a lot of things please dont add to the list... she is a good child... please remember such things as false noses, and other makeup gimmicks exists in this world... so in the photo of leaning tower of pisa if the tower is leaning then it should mean its leaning in real life.... this is a polite request to stop trying to be expert in things you are not qualified for...
Hi Lorry, not sure what is the best way to reach you, but I know you are doing more research into K-Pop procedures for your series. As cosmetic dermatologist that has spent quite a bit of time studying Korean cosmetic procedures, be sure to keep an eye out for common idols treatments like Botox for the nostrils to prevent flaring and defining the jaw line, fillers to create aegyo-sal under the eyes, very frequent and expensive dermatology procedures for everything from hair removal (especially on the face and hairline) to skin lightening to hyaluronic and vitamin injections, and on the surgical side, FACIAL CONTOURING (!!). While rhinoplasty and different blepharoplasty procedures are obviously extremely common, I’d probably rank facial contouring (inclusive of fat grafts, bone shaving, and custom implants, especially for the chin and forehead) as the third most prevalent form of surgical cosmetic enhancements. Moving away from the face, what’s more common for K-Pop idols in terms of body modification are things like calf muscle reduction, clavicle lengthening, and carboxy therapy as opposed to procedures like breast impacts or buttock enhancement. It really is wild how different the availability and popularity of procedures are in Korea compared to the US.
It’s really an enjoyable learning experience, so I wish you the best with both it and your channel.
@@jorg-cx2kv My first questions would be what your approximate age is, ethnicity, and reasons for wanting a facelift are and what you think it would accomplish or correct. A traditional facelift is a major procedure that isn’t really done in younger people. There are partial lifts, minis, thread lifts, etc., so that is a pretty broad question. Depending on what you are going for aesthetically, you might be considering the completely wrong procedure.

@Cheesecake123: I think it is wrong to have plastic surgery. First of all, it's SURGERY. How shallow and insecure can a person be that they would go under the knife to look a certain way? Maybe if someone is disfigured, that is a different story. But just wanting Caucasian round eyes or a slimmer nose? That can lead to complications. And to affect one's health for vanity seems to be a sin to me.

I'm not a Blink and honestly didn't even know she was Thai because her current appearance looks nothing like the average Thai woman. Seeing her before photos however shows the typical Thai facial features which makes it obvious that she's had work done. In regards to skin whitening, it is very common in Thailand. The majority of skincare products include whitening ingredients. I find it a bit sad honestly.

That's true. I'm a plastic surgery model in Korea and I'll get surgery next month. Honestly because of that I want to collaborate with some TH-cam channel and talk openly about that. Still nowadays when you have surgery people look down at you, but actually there is nothing wrong about it. If there is something you want to change just do it. Miracle don't happen alone. Also is not that easy decision so it's also a little "brave" decision because I don't think that everyone would do it easily so personally whoever have the guts to change something whit surgery or even without it's really brave I think. So never be ashamed to admit it.
As a cosmetic dermatologist who happens to love K-Pop, I can’t count how many times I’ve been sworn at or threatened for pointing out different procedures. I feel bad for the kids out there thinking that puberty alone can cause these miraculous changes. The wealthy and celebrities have more access to cosmetic procedures and expectations for a certain beauty standard are insane, so of course it’s going to be very prevalent.
Can you tell me how to brighten skin like lisa?
And it's really not the celebs. It's their management companies, record labels or agents that are getting these procedures done for them and paying for them.
@@pandurangsarode7435 I’m no cosmetic expert, but there are a plentiful amount of skin care products that brighten skin or help with dullness. There’s also skin whitening products (soaps, creams, etc) that should be easy to find both in stores & online

@@pandurangsarode7435 Celebrities can receive a lot of expensive treatments for skin whitening, from intravenous glutathione treatments to cosmetic dermatology treatments like chemical peels and microdermabrasion. For creams, the most commonly prescribed active ingredient in Hydroquinone (low levels can be bought OTC but higher levels require a prescription) usually in combination with a Vitamin C derivative like Tretinoin. Some markets still sell topical products that use derivatives of mercury to lighten skin which is toxic and extremely dangerous, so please be careful and do your research. To be quite blunt, most OTC products will do very little, regardless of the price tag. The best thing you can do though is to regularly wear and reapply SPF (and don’t just count on things like makeup products that contain SPF) whenever you will be exposed to UV rays (yes, that means even when you are indoors or in transport so long as there are windows). Embracing your natural skin color, using sun protection, and evening out skin tone is really the best for long term results, especially psychologically. Don’t forget that when you see most K-Pop celebrities, they are wearing makeup multiple shades lighter than their natural skin tone (if it’s for a stage performance, that can include body makeup as well) and are very rarely photographed or filmed without filters to make their skin whiter as well (even media outlets will do this). Patience, SPF, minimal sun exposure, and a healthy diet and skin care regimen will take you a long way, but if it is an issue that really does bother you and you want more drastic results, see your dermatologist before purchasing products that promise to whiten skin. It might seem like a hassle, but it will save you a lot of money and time in the long run. (Fun fact: most Koreans see a dermatologist VERY regularly, much more so than in other countries where trips to the dermatologist are maybe only a once or twice yearly occasion, and with celebrities and K-Pop idols, it’s even more frequent than that).
Almost every single idol has had cosmetic surgery and if fans don’t believe it, they’re either in denial or new to kpop.

All of the blackpink members have had skin whitening. Lisa’s face is done in a very aesthetic way. She looks beautiful and the fact that millions of people refuse to believe work was done bears testament to the fact that the surgeons did a great job.

I don't have a problem with someone debating an idol's surgery accusations. We should know if an idol has been untruthful about their surgeries or not. My problem is that she didn't come from a point of "did Lisa have surgery" but "how did Lisa have surgery? And what areas?" No consideration for the possibility that these surgery accusations could be mistaken, no acknowledgement that the could be wrong.
Accusing an idol of lying is serious, especially without evidence. These issues could be considered from both sides.

Me personally as Lisa stan, didn't find plastic surgery to be something to be ashamed of. I didn't agree with those attacking video maker, but as an audience or people who watching this video, the video maker said this is just OPINION, but I see many in comments taking what she said as TRUTH. I’m a blackpink stan who loves Lisa, and I’m not offended at all. She’s just a professional who’s giving her unbiased professional opinion. I found the video interesting anyways
My only issue is how she worded the beginning. She didn't say "this is my opinion on the posibilites", she kind of treated it like truth the whole time until stating every now and then that it was her opinion. A few things I can see, like the nose (which is common all over and personally idc if someone alters their body). But some things she stated I've seen change naturally. She needs to express more that certain changes are not only changeable by surgery, but by natural progression in looks. I've seen someone completely change in appearance over 16 years, knowing they never got plastic surgery and some of what she said could have been changed she made sound like surgery was the only way to do so. I have no problems with plastic surgery. If you wanna be prettier, go for it. But she needs to make it absolutely clear what can change naturally and what can't. People on the internet are dumb, they take everything as FACT despite someone saying it's their OPINION. and this just makes me worry about the girls possibly being attacked over this. She’s a professional so she would be able to tell the difference between a natural change and a surgical change. In many of her videos she has pointed out natural changes. Majority of the kpop idols i would say 90% of them had something done i really admire jessi and DIA chayeoun's confidence i mean atleast they did'nt deny or hide it unlike other idols. My nose was large and flat when I was a kid but when I had puberty and started doing nose exercise my nose got smaller and it is not flat anymore. BTW, I live in the Philippines as a senior high school student and I'm not that well off to have plastic surgery. And if you will watch her in real men 300 you will see that her nose was still the same as before.

There's been several Kpop stars who admitted to plastic surgery as well. The problem here is Kpop will always have YOUNG fans because kids & teens are the targeted demographic, so Kpop will always have immature fans. Eventually these fans will grow out of it and moved on like all the older Kpop fans, but then new young fans will enter and the cycle continues.
The irony is that the whole point of Lorry's channel is to teach people like the young uneducated stans that almost all the beauty we see in the media today has had some cosmetic alteration. Which is fine. It's kind of funny though that the stans really are going out of their way to defend someone to the death because of their deep set bias against surgery, even though the evidence is obvious.
