The world would be a better place if we still had Graham Chapman and Marty Feldman.

Brilliant original and you can see where Monty Python came from 👏🏻👏🏻

Precious madcap humour. Every one of these sketches is a winner. I think if they had been in colour in the 60s and 70s, they'd have been as effective as Python.

You could be right, but I get the feeling that 50%of the audience, were not ready for it

The Lovely Aimi MacDonald, such a talented singer. An all round favorite.

The first sketch when they're talking all at once...they did the same thing in Yellow Submarine, playing off each other. Amazing!

Oh my! It is so funny when Tim and Marty crack! Even John did!

I seem to recall an interview with John Cleese (or Eric Idle) where he said the only non-Python comedian he could imagine could have been a Python was Mel Brooks. I'm frankly surprised he didn't think of Marty Feldman considering he had already worked with Marty and knew what he was capable of, and a handful of Python sketches (e.g. The Book Shop) apparently originated with Marty in a starring role.

I remember Marty sitting in front of me at Chelsea games in the days when they had a lot of Show Biz stars. We all waited in vain for him to do something outrageous.

The policeman sketch is brilliant. But... one question remains unanswered... After Beryl (Philippa) and Samantha got in a fight, how come Samantha goes at Bubbles (Doris) so hard with her handbag?

4:15 Well, if any of the Sidney Lotterbies could see his own lips move...it'd be Sidney Lotterby-Feldman. Of the Ipswich Lotterby-Feldmans.

Oh my goodness! LOL the comments on this must be from ancient memories of times gone by... nothing wrong with that but this stuff is inane now. Not that that is a bad thing but just goes to show that this stuff is a reminder of youth and happier days of what will come. Like watching the original Coronation st. which brings me back to a smoggy Shepherds Bush, steralized milk on the doorstep, summers on Turnham Green after school, girls and what they are all about, walking down a street in London and not getting raped or mugged, when people were polite to each other, etc... etc... just saying. That is what we are looking for when we watch this stuff... just saying. love and peace, and a nod to distant days.

Was the Sydney Lotterby sketch inspired by the real-life Sydney Lotterby, TV/movie director & producer?
