One Monday morning I was taking a bus from Staten Island into Manhattan at 6AM wearing my Walkman. Stern was on K-Rock and he was bitching about an argument he had with his wife Alison over the weekend. He told what she said, then explained why that was wrong, then he told his reply, then her response, and he literally didn’t stop talking for 30 minutes straight and he kept getting more disgusted as he relived this argument. All of a sudden there’s like 20 seconds of dead air and it was like the eye of the hurricane! Then Stern leans into the microphone and in a calm voice says, “Robin, whatever you do, don’t trust anything that bleeds for 5 days without dying!”! 😂 I’m still on the bus and I bend over laughing very hard on an otherwise quiet bus. I look around and half the bus is giving me a dirty look because they know I’m listening to the Stern show. The other half of the bus looks sad because they know I’m listening to the Stern show and they just missed something really funny! 😂
EPIC scene! Classic. I would have loved to have seen Stern do this in real life just to be a smart ass when he first started out on DUBBAYA-ENNN-BEE-SEE! Cause his cohost nor the network didn't have ANY clue of what he was about to do on the air. and the tour in the background... priceless! A nice understated performance by Paul Hect as Ross Buckingham. He was nominated for a Tony in the late 60s, won an off Broadway (OBIE) award in the late 80s and he has played several small roles on TV shows. What's great about this performance is, once I saw it, I could never again read or hear the words, '"Summer Stock" or "Community Theater", without smiling and thinking of this character. Call me crazy, but I remembered this Ross character more than I remembered the Kielbasa lady. I think it's because, I've seen plenty of porn with women doing real deep throat scenes, but I've only seen a one or two movies or TV shows that made fun of the amateur acting circuit. Also, even though I never heard Howard do a rant about Summer Stock or Community Theater, I can totally imagine him clowning on them for 20 minutes straight and somehow making it entertaining.

This woman has a very bright future, and lucky man who ever married her
She's actually a full fledged feminist lesbian so no lucky guys haha...jk I have no clue

Howard Stern even pronounced the word: "kiełbasa" correctly with polish consonant "Ł" sounding clearly. That's quite impressive.
