Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime ever. It's the only anime I ever bought DVDs for, because I wanted to see the end of the 3 Kings arc. I had every single copy of the DVD collection of DT through 3 Kings. Man I wish I still had those.
K I’m losing faith in them talking about shows NHK- the guy was not a hikikomori because he is an otsku, his neighbour got him into it and he became obsessed because it was something he could care about, since the reason he was a shutdown is because of apathy Princess mononoke: is not trippy. It’s serious but I wouldn’t say trippy at all like spirited away Gundam seed: is not the worse written gundam. Recongista, wing, victory have had worse ratings but of course they’ll say seed because it’s an easy punching bag It makes me wonder if they just watch to much stuff to actually absorbed what that are watching
The trippy statement was about spirited away I think (although PM has a few trippy elements regarding the forrest and the ending as well). But yeah, NHK is a show about someone with high social anxiety and its his neighbour thats the Otaku that basically drags him into the VN world. The appeal is that the MC is a 2 steps forward 3 steps back person (which is pretty frustrating, but also realistic) and it doesnt have an happy happy ending where all the problems magically disappear. Also one of the few times where I prefer the Anime and its few changes over the source material.
I don't know if you guys have seen Emily's Childhood Crushes 2 video but Daidus and Erold were both flipping over Gundam SEED and wanted Emily to watch it (but she doesn't like mecha lol). Yeah I never got to watch GS, but I know it was super popular because at the time Newtype USA was still around and they covered it a lot. I was in college around this time lol. My fav anime (in no particular order) would be the following- Sailor Moon (the entire franchise, but I would pick the reboot over the OG as far as story and chars go, but the OG has the better humor and music)- Basically the anime that turned me into an Otaku. I was about Usagi's age when I saw the OG anime, so I found her very relatable (except for the bad grades and bad cooking lol). Usagi and Mamoru are still my Ultimate OTP and a lot of the music lives rent free in my head. I ever used my portable cassette recorder to record one of the songs when it aired on Toonami lol. Very poor quality but I didn't care, I relistened to it over and over lol. Fruit Basket- First heard about in Newtype USA magazine and since I love anything Zodiac related *points to username*, I got the first DVD on a whim and the rest is history. Fangirled so hard when the reboot came out with most of the OG English VAs returning. Oh my sign is the Rooster so I was happy to see my sign finally make an appearance lol. Howl's Moving Castle- Fav movie of all time and it has everything I want in a movie- great story, chars, romance, comedy, and adventure with beautiful animation and music. Magic Knight Rayearth- Fav CLAMP work, even seen the OVA. For me this was Madoka Magica before Madoka Magica since it flip the scrip and has one of my fav plot twists in media. Read A LOT of Fuu and Ferio fanfiction. CLAMP loves teasing its fans sometimes with their lack of kissing I swear lol. Fushigi Yuugi- Yuu Watase is my fav Mangaka and I enjoy the entire franchise. First anime to make me cry. Wish Alice 19th would get an anime . . . . Ronin Warriors- My first shonen and I had one of my first anime crushes here. I watched it on accident when it aired on the weekend on Network TV (we didn't have Cable at the time). It was actually toward the end of the anime, but I got hooked and would eventually watch the whole thing on TH-cam. People forget this came out before DBZ came here. I feel Ronin Warriors walked so DBZ could run lol. Jing: King of Bandits- Most underrated anime if you ask me. Back when I would get Newtype USA magazines, they come with free anime episodes (mostly 1st episodes) on DVDs. That's how I saw this anime originally and eventually I bought the entire season. Jing is very much like Robin Hood in the personality department and the anime is mostly comedy based but isn't afraid to get dark either. Cinderella Monogatari- One of my fav Cinderella adaptations. Like you don't get to the ball until the end of the anime, so it does a great job of fleshing out certain chars, especially the Prince. He and Cinderella actually meet early on and become friends (she never realizes he's the prince though). I just wish while the prince was incognito, he'd change his name to an alias. Grimm's Fairy Tales Classics aka Grimm Meisaku Gekijou- Grew up on Fairytales so I am a sucker for them. This got aired in the 90s on Nickelodeon and I would watch this after school at my grandpa's house because he'd pick me up afterschool since my parents couldn't. Favs are Coat of Many Colors, Snow White and Rose Red, and Brother and Sister. FYI, the Snow White I mentioned is different from the more popular Snow White lol. Yes I am showing my age here, but I don't care lol.
The most adrenaline filled anime I've seen do have to be hajime no ippo and GL, aside from that there is also one more called Kaiji. The anime is soooo damn tense in every game he plays and i was always at the edge of my seat trying to find a way out of every problem he encountered a lot of it was pure genius, it was pretty fun.
I feel like most people don't get the end of Oreimo... the first season also had an OVA final stretch that is a "bad ending", beginning with Kirino leaving to US instead of staying home which would be the "true ending"... season 2 should be seen the same way, those OVA episodes are the "bad ending" and if it bothers you just ignore it, watching up to before those episodes it is still a wholesome show
Or maybe the good ending is in the oreimo psp games, where you can choose your favorite character to be with lol (its written by the same author, and its actually pretty damn good especially the Second sequal) But well, In the Light novel the good ending wasn't even there it was straight up kirino went to amirca, its probably they wanted an ending for the first season so they made that ending, and then the TRUE ending Also i really loved the first season, the first ep was great, the Second we met the iconic gang, the third had kyousuke at his peak, and some other great epsoides like when they went to manami house or that maid ep (lol) and ect ect... It didnt have any real serious moments, but it was funny Light hearted Now the Second season 💀 Before i go with Second season i want to clearfy that kirino IS my favorite character in the series, and I don't dislike the second one because he chose her or something The Second season itself had alot of stuff i didnt like it at all like the fake boyfriend BS and that epsoide were kyosuke was with ayase playing that game with a character looks like her because it was so Unneccasry, and some characters was SO out of character in that epsoide mainly kyosuke (but it made sense since that whole epsoide was filler lmao) and ria hagary the fastet elementary schooler in existence coming to japan, it wasn't terrible and it had some intresting stuff but meh it was kinda boring And oh my god what happend to my boy kyosuke He become useless as hell- I adore every time He did a plan to solve something, like with His father or with ayase and like that, it always worked somhow and was something I Never saw coming, i know most people hate on kirino herself because how of a brat she is, but the show just copy the bad scenes about her from the Light novel and let most of her great parts and made her look like she's bad for the sake of being bad, i can't blame the people of why they view her like that Kyousuke legitmitly Changed on both of the series, at least he again got back to be a good character in the Light novel after valome 9 while kyosuke in the anime didnt because they rushed so much stuff, seriously the show needed like 7-10 more epsoides the show skipped alot of great and funny moments in the novel and even the art style level got multiple layers down in the last epsoides, if they had more time, im sure the show might be way more beloved despite the ending They also explained alot of stuff of what happend after the choice they made in the novel, one of things that made me despise the ending is because there's still alot of questions that didn't got an answer, mainly the other characters and what happend to them and what happend afterwards since they still have feelings for each other, not because "He didnt end up with ayase" 💀 I like ayase especially koruneko she kinda carried the Second season But ngl i think the ending might be a bit boring if He just went with any other girl, and the final fight with manami won't happen, and its just made sense of why he choosed her between all the other characters, but hey That's just my opinion Ok that was way longer than i thought Sorry about that-
Gundam SEED was the second one I watched and I only ever watched first few ep before I lost cable I think. It was Mobile Fighter G Gundam that was my first Gundam and I remember watching all of it on cartoon network.

Calling Gundam SEED the SAO of Real Robot is the most blasphemous, yet weirdly apt comparison I've heard. Keep cooking, Joey. IIRC Gundam SEED was actually pretty popular in the east, it's only the west (particularly N. America) that has a hate boner against the Cosmic Era. Destiny, on the other hand, is just as bad as everyone said to the point of tainting the reputation of CE as a whole. Shanghai even has a 1:1 statue of the Freedom Gundam, as a testament to it's fame on the eastern hemisphere.

Y'all have not seen anything if you haven't seen White Album 1 😂
I LOVE CLANNAD/CLANNAD AFTER STORY and Princess Mononoke!!! Daidus has great taste!! 😂❤👏👏👏
Welcome to the NHK speaks to my soul.
Surprised daidus didnt put evangelion
I will never watch a show called “my little sister can’t be this cute”
Naruto remake can bring it back very well if they have time budget and a good director
The fact that they mentioned that White Album is like School Days makes me want to watch White Album...
I think I have issues, idk...
Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime ever. It's the only anime I ever bought DVDs for, because I wanted to see the end of the 3 Kings arc. I had every single copy of the DVD collection of DT through 3 Kings. Man I wish I still had those.
White album 2 is ironically great, the visual novel at least. Kazusa true end all the way.
This is legit a nice discussion
A very good 3x3 for daidus he is so to live in japan so he can watch the new seed movie in theaters
K I’m losing faith in them talking about shows
NHK- the guy was not a hikikomori because he is an otsku, his neighbour got him into it and he became obsessed because it was something he could care about, since the reason he was a shutdown is because of apathy
Princess mononoke: is not trippy. It’s serious but I wouldn’t say trippy at all like spirited away
Gundam seed: is not the worse written gundam. Recongista, wing, victory have had worse ratings but of course they’ll say seed because it’s an easy punching bag
It makes me wonder if they just watch to much stuff to actually absorbed what that are watching
My fav anime (in no particular order) would be the following-
Sailor Moon (the entire franchise, but I would pick the reboot over the OG as far as story and chars go, but the OG has the better humor and music)- Basically the anime that turned me into an Otaku.
SEED is best Gundam though.
White Album 2 one of the visual novel of all time if fully adapted it has the potential to rival something like SteinsGate
10:20 the synchronised ummmmmmm
I feel like most people don't get the end of Oreimo... the first season also had an OVA final stretch that is a "bad ending", beginning with Kirino leaving to US instead of staying home which would be the "true ending"... season 2 should be seen the same way, those OVA episodes are the "bad ending" and if it bothers you just ignore it, watching up to before those episodes it is still a wholesome show
Or maybe the good ending is in the oreimo psp games, where you can choose your favorite character to be with lol (its written by the same author, and its actually pretty damn good especially the Second sequal)
But well, In the Light novel the good ending wasn't even there it was straight up kirino went to amirca, its probably they wanted an ending for the first season so they made that ending, and then the TRUE ending
Also i really loved the first season, the first ep was great, the Second we met the iconic gang, the third had kyousuke at his peak, and some other great epsoides like when they went to manami house or that maid ep (lol) and ect ect...
It didnt have any real serious moments, but it was funny Light hearted
Now the Second season 💀
Before i go with Second season i want to clearfy that kirino IS my favorite character in the series, and I don't dislike the second one because he chose her or something
The Second season itself had alot of stuff i didnt like it at all like the fake boyfriend BS and that epsoide were kyosuke was with ayase playing that game with a character looks like her because it was so Unneccasry, and some characters was SO out of character in that epsoide mainly kyosuke (but it made sense since that whole epsoide was filler lmao) and ria hagary the fastet elementary schooler in existence coming to japan, it wasn't terrible and it had some intresting stuff but meh it was kinda boring
And oh my god what happend to my boy kyosuke He become useless as hell-
I adore every time He did a plan to solve something, like with His father or with ayase and like that, it always worked somhow and was something I Never saw coming, i know most people hate on kirino herself because how of a brat she is, but the show just copy the bad scenes about her from the Light novel and let most of her great parts and made her look like she's bad for the sake of being bad, i can't blame the people of why they view her like that
Kyousuke legitmitly Changed on both of the series, at least he again got back to be a good character in the Light novel after valome 9 while kyosuke in the anime didnt because they rushed so much stuff, seriously the show needed like 7-10 more epsoides the show skipped alot of great and funny moments in the novel and even the art style level got multiple layers down in the last epsoides, if they had more time, im sure the show might be way more beloved despite the ending
They also explained alot of stuff of what happend after the choice they made in the novel, one of things that made me despise the ending is because there's still alot of questions that didn't got an answer, mainly the other characters and what happend to them and what happend afterwards since they still have feelings for each other, not because "He didnt end up with ayase" 💀
I like ayase especially koruneko she kinda carried the Second season
But ngl i think the ending might be a bit boring if He just went with any other girl, and the final fight with manami won't happen, and its just made sense of why he choosed her between all the other characters, but hey That's just my opinion
Ok that was way longer than i thought Sorry about that-
This really deserves the name Trash Taste.
white album 2 has some banger songs
Luv White Album 2
The only thing Gundam SEED was good is the half naked silhouettes of women on the OP.
Gundam SEED was the second one I watched and I only ever watched first few ep before I lost cable I think. It was Mobile Fighter G Gundam that was my first Gundam and I remember watching all of it on cartoon network.
Only Gundam ive seen is G Gundam and I like it like that
OMG SOMEONE FINALLY PICKED RANMA 1/2!
As an Elder Millennial/Weeaboomer, im proud there's someone on here with impeccable taste. Surprised his Gundam choice wasn't Wing.
Also, I just want to point out that Joey and Garnt sharing one braincell for one split second at 10:20
my reaction when Ranma 1/2 and oreimo is Daidus taste on anime: 0_0
shit he has the same anime taste as I do WHAT
wow trash taste talking about white album 2. That's one of the better romances and is extremely underrated as an anime.

10:20 oh shit my ears
Joey and Garnt syncronized at 10:20 again
Love the show boys and the crew. Just got to the point where I can finally be able to support y’all on Patreon. Keep up the great work
He’s alive
10:20 SHARED BRAIN CELLS!! 😂😂😂😂
When you see someone having the exact same taste in anime. mAh man!!
Goated 3x3
Calling Gundam SEED the SAO of Real Robot is the most blasphemous, yet weirdly apt comparison I've heard. Keep cooking, Joey.
IIRC Gundam SEED was actually pretty popular in the east, it's only the west (particularly N. America) that has a hate boner against the Cosmic Era. Destiny, on the other hand, is just as bad as everyone said to the point of tainting the reputation of CE as a whole.
Shanghai even has a 1:1 statue of the Freedom Gundam, as a testament to it's fame on the eastern hemisphere.
I feel like it is a pretty good comparison is that they are both okay to pretty good shows that people give way too much hate towards.
Laugh all you want but gundam seed is an iconic anime..😄😄😃 As the same generation as Daidus these are my 3x3
1. FMAB
2. Yuyu hakushu
3.Inuyasha
4. Major-greatest sports anime out there
5. Legend of legendary heroes-i know the title is ridiculous but its great
6.Gangsta
7. Hunter x hunter-90s version
8. Hajime no Ippo
9.Ajin
Kuroneko got fuckin' robbed.
robbed by best girl
i saw Ranma and i knew it was Daidus
gundam seed was pretty good, seed destiny on the other hand was the shit part xD
One day they'll see my trash taste
Love how baffled Connor is for people that likes Oreimo or any incest sh*t anime......😂😂😂😂
I’m with him on that.
@@entropybentwhistleSame
gundam seed is the best gundam.
Clannad is best anime
What is the difference between White slbum and white album 2?
I really don’t watch anime much. The only one I do watch is Black Butler (how I found this damn channel in the first place lol). I’ll sometimes watch Death Note, but I don’t follow it closely.
um, ive seen almost all the gundam shows & i love Seed & it wasnt even the first Gundam show i watched (it was 00) which is my second fav Gundam show (wing being the 3rd) idk how to take this coming from the 2 guys who think oreimo & domestic girlfirend are top tier animes, and yes ive watched both & didnt mind them but still.
I liked gundam thunderbolt
People that mock Seed are almost always fans of the cringes shit, like Wing, 00, G Gundam, etc
Wait what is up with 00? I mean I prefer SEED myself and found 00 just okay
@thedarkangel613 00 is literally just Wing. Cool suits, 1 dimensional boring characters. Setsuna is so bad, he's just modern Heero Yuy
I mean I like G Gundam, but yeah Wing fans hate SEED even if their show is way worse.
@@dexter5653naw I think Wing is way more convoluted than 00. But I will agree that Setsuna and Heero are that similar stoic no personality character
Not at all. Any real gundam fan who watched UC can’t stand seed
they have been talking abt anime way too much lately, something's off
Btw SeeD is carried by the pop song and Kira Yesus
Plotline is crap tho
Doesn't Daidus love Sakura from Naruto like Grant?🤔😶
Wait everyone is an anime boomer?
Oreimo is such a masterpiece.
Garmt and joey are two of the biggest names in anime community but they have some of the trashy taste
I dont understand how they were both so adamant on agreeing that Gundam Seed is bad, but didn't really go into their "whys".
It's like they heard it enough times it's bad and decided to just go along with it.
nOIce
Oreimo is the only good one here.
Gundam SEED is what you get when you cross Twilight and every edgy, mid 2000s anime fan with Giant robots.
All I hear when i see SEED is Crawling by Linkin Park. 😂😂
that was gundam wing all the western adds actualy played that song
I dunno, adding giant robots would've made Twilight a little bit less boring.
@@wchan39 i'm trying to picture it but all i can see is a transformers crossover where Optimus is a robot werewolf whos in a love triangle with Megatron and Starscream and Megatron is super depressed because hes trying to be an edge lord but every time he steps into sunlight he sparkles
SEED only got big due to the fujo stuff.
It only gets hate because of pretty boys.
I like gundam seed until the moment that girl manipulated Kira trough sex into Killing people, then season 2 proceeds to not get better in writing like legit losing brain cells trying to follow up the plot for season 2.
Aside for seed, Daidus has decent taste. If it is him
Ah yes Gundam SEED is not worse than Oreimo or anything.
@@thomasffrench3639 seed was pretty lame.
@@triggerfairy4070 better than being trash.
@@thomasffrench3639 youre really upset about oerimo huh? XD
@@triggerfairy4070 I’m upset that you would rank that above SEED which is an insult to decent taste.
Daidus will be ostracized by the Gundam fans with that pick......😂😂😂😂😂😂
The. I’ll join him because I love gundam seed. And I have seen many gundam shows
is Gundam seed that bad? worst than the build fighters and gundam age?
No it’s not! These guys just haven’t watch it in years so they are going in what the popular thing in the 2000s is, which was to sh*t on it because it was popular and different from wing and original UC century while also borrowing from it
All au’s are bad
First
God…… out of all the gundam shows, out of all the amazing incredibly written gundam shows there is…….. of course daidus has to go with seed
I mean you can do a hell of a lot worse. But it is disappointing to have it instead of a UC show.
