Nice and smooth, Thanks Boss for a cool solo take on a song I've always loved.. Don't know about the "have a drink, have a drive" part; lol. But how can anyone not smile and tap their foot when hearing this song, just a cool groove
A great chirpy song to learn from yesteryear - and good exercise for getting your fingers to play individual notes within a chord. Glad you used original lyrics and not the PC ones!
Another awesome tutorial. Thanks Ivor. As a matter of interest are you using the amplifier? What gauge strings are you using on the Martin? Btw I ended up with the GS Mini instead of the Big Baby.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed my lesson. All my lessons are recorded just using the camera mic, I'm not using the guitar pickup. String guage 11-52 on the Martin, the same strings that I use on the Taylor Big Baby. The GS Mini is a nice guitar, good choice my friend. Ivor
Como siempre, excelente. Felicidades y saludos desde la Ciudad de México. Podrías dar una lección de la canción "I Love You", del grupo People?. Muchas gracias.
Cost was £1699 GBP. Still love my Taylor Big Baby but the Martin is growing on me the more I play it. Both are lovely to play but tonal wise they are quite different. Time will tell which will end up being my favourite. Ivor
Oh boy, when I saw that other Mungo Jerry you posted I hoped you'd do this one! Thanks Ivor, great song from my high school days. Only song I'd ever heard by them, were they more popular in the UK?
Yes, they had several chart toppers in the early 70's in the UK. The main man Ray Dorset is still performing I believe. Glad you enjoyed my take on this classic oldie. Ivor
