    Have a plan...put yourself into action....stay attacking the plan...step by step...one day at a time....get in the warehouse....sign the list over and over...work hard.....start driving....stay consistent get it done...trust the process.

    As someone that works at UPS is very encouraging and enlightening to hear a UPSer acknowledge and accept both sides of management and union, and gets on with the job. At the end of the day it is the job you applied for, no one forced you do to it. UPS is your employer, they pay you for the work you do for them, now are there bad sides to the management and union? yes. If you can't handle it, there's other jobs out there to do. Don't limit yourself to UPS.

      @@neubourn Agreed 100% . UPS doesn’t force anyone to work for them!

    I’ve been working in the warehouse as a loader for a year now waiting patiently to try being a driver. This worked great so far for me and my family because we had a baby and the benefits are amazing and have paid everything so far. Only issue is I’m running out of my back up money after a year of part time work. I’m looking forward to hopefully driving during this years peak and then return to the warehouse until I can get hired on permanently! Playing the long game

      There you go, hang in there, you've got this! Maybe finding another part time job or a side hustle to supplement your income. That's what I had to do in 2014. Good luck!

    Hey man thank you for telling the truth and the honesty, I have a question, I recently applied to ups as a temporary cover driver/warehouse worker. My question is, with that position will it benefit me to move up to be a driver faster/ full time or will it still be the same process as starting as a part timer as a warehouse worker ?

    • @BrickedOutMedia

      The TCD/warehouse worker position......they will send you to driver training, because you're a driver. You have the advantage over warehouse workers because they aren't "drivers" yet.

    Do you need experience driving those trucks or they just train you, or do you just go out and and just drive that thing winging it?

    • @BrickedOutMedia
      @BrickedOutMedia  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@jcdenton7914 Thanks for your comment/question. No, you don’t need experience. If you know how to drive, then you’re fine. They don’t train you how to drive the trucks, they just train you how to use the UPS methods when you drive the trucks.

    Hey i got a question , i found a position for Warehouse worker / cover driver , but its a part time ! Do you work at warehouse most of the time on that position ? I’m at USPS now but full time ! Should i accept the offer ? Only thing making me think twice is the pay ! 😢 if that was a full time offer i wouldn’t think about for a sec !

    • @BrickedOutMedia
      @BrickedOutMedia  22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks for your question/comment. Yes, it's considered part time because your primary job is warehouse. Even though they'll send you to driver training, you'll only drive as needed. Now, how much you drive will depend on the staffing in your particular center/building. You'll most likely drive all or most of the peak season, then after the holidays, you'll probably will be working more in the warehouse. That's typical, but it'll vary based on staffing.

      I know it'll be hard leaving a full time gig for a part time question. I did it when I first started. Not saying you should, but I'm just telling you what I did. Maybe I should make a video of what I did exactly.

      @BrickedOutMedia  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your comment question. It’s very rare to get hired as a driver off the street. And if you did, it wouldn’t be because of what you did prior, it’ll be based on you applying at the right place at the right time.

      Yes, I agree, it does seem that way. If this helps…… I was able to find other gigs since I had my CDL, in order to stay afloat and don’t financially wreck my situation. That allowed me to endure longer and u wasn’t worried too much, I just knew it’ll be a matter of time. No lie, there were people fall by the wayside for sure. I was blessed with my situation. I hope this helps!
