As a Texas fan, I have to say Frazier was the best option QB I ever saw. It was a joy to watch them mop the floor with the Florida/Miami teams in the 90s. They were class in the face of thugs and showed them how real men play football. And I relished every minute of the games they took it to 'em. Oh and also Alabama in the same era. Hook 'em!
Was discussed on our tackling, play calling etc. it it’s been years now and I have since turned into a Nebraska fan. Too bad they have fallen from the ranks. Gators came back next year and still a die hard gator fan but I have a sentimental backing for Nebraska. I remember they brought a houng handicapped 12:16 boy on the field during a spring game and he ran for a touchdown which is what turned me into a fan. Much respect for that.
Best college football team in history. I remember that season well, and I'm not even a Nebraska fan. I am glad they curbstomped Florida. Florida has the worst fans in America. Goodnight.
I get why young people prefer ‘01 canes and ‘19 tigers, but I don’t even think there’s a big debate. I think ‘95 Nebraska beats both those teams 7/10 times. That team had no weakness. Strength, speed, and stamina on both sides.
@@robjohnson8861 He left Florida after this Nebraska game and went straight to Marshall. You must mean that he coached as a DC for one year in 08. 2008 USC went 12-1 and he was coaching Virginia who hasn't been anything in football since the 90s. That is a 12 year difference in time though. 95 Florida went undefeated until the Fiesta Bowl. 95 Nebraska was one of the best teams ever. 95 Nebraska O Line has to be the best ever O Line in cfb being they gave up no sacks all season and they had zero holding penalties the whole season.
@@nmelkhunter1 well of course. Hey at least I had the balls to watch the video. I was 9 at the tome of the game. Nebraska won the 2nd quarter 29-0 I believe
@@willhopson1277 I understand the disappointment our teams can bring us. I’m a Broncos fan and they certainly “scarred” my childhood a couple of times. Take care.
What a stout Nebraska team. Holy shit. Florida was out manned. Florida basically played an NFL team who ran the option. Complete man handeled Florida.
Nebraska will NEVER see this from their team EVER again, but it sure was FUN to be there to witness and celebrate complete DOMINANCE!! Go Big RED!!
When it comes to ranking the best cfb teams in history, this team should be #1. Canes Fan.
Nebraska had a huge College Football Empire in the 90s
As well as Florida
@ Danger BABY. And FSU ! Definitely the three best teams that decade.
I’m not sure that style works today but it to me is the most sound and logical style of football played.
80s, 70s too

FSU fan here. Loved watching the Nebraska freight train run all over the Gaytors.
TF one hell of a talent man! This whole team was legendary
I've been a life long Husker fan. But, can we all agree that Ike Hilliard is one of the best reveievers to ever play the sport?
If the Nebraska teams of the 90’s were in the Big Ten now they would dominate the west division and would probably have a few Big Ten titles

one of the worst displays of tackling ever
One of the best displays of breaking tackles ever.
True, but you have to be able understand that Florida knew it was futile at the same time. Nebraska were men among boys that season.

Floridas tackling ..
Who knew. The defensive coordinator for FL lost the his next game as DC to USC 52-7. Small world, huh.
The DC Pruett went on to HC Marshall and 96 Marshall went 15-0.
@@EdD-it1zs but in that roll as DC, he was 62-24 and 52-7 back to back.
@@robjohnson8861 After the Nebraska loss he went on the head coach Marshall.

Nebraska highlights only...You mean there were any other highlights? 😁
Believe it or not Florida actually had the lead well into the second quarter of this game
