Came here to see Herberts first career start. But dam Washington had a stupid defense Budda Baker and Vita Vea ???

Was cleaning out my basement and came across a photo of me at this game. Oh the memories in LES. What strikes me after watching the highlight is how BYU dominated this game in every facet but came up short in the blue zone with FG instead of TDs which made the 4th and 18 so dramatic. Also, Harvey is a beast and Max + Austin were clutch.

I remember this game well. A SWEET, SWEET win for BYU!!! They had the crowd against them, the sports media against them, the questionable behavior of KS defense, AND EVEN THE REFS (those 4th quarter interference calls were HORRIBLE!!!)😱 against them..........AND STILL, with grit and a suffocating defense, deservedly pulled it off. ONE OF BYU'S BEST TEAMS.....maybe THE BEST TEAM ever out of Provo🤗🤗🤗

I remember all the hype around the so-called "rivalries" BYU had with both San Diego State and Air Force. But if you look at the results of those games, BYU was 24-7 versus Air Force and 29-8 versus San Diego State🙄🫣 Combined, BYU was 53-15 against these two schools!!! You may call it a "rivalry', but......well, was it???🧐😏

Alabama was #1 all season long until they lost in the SEC championship game. They barely miss out on the national championship game and then have to play a perceived nobody in Utah. Alabama was deflated and didn't want to be there after such heartbreak. You can't convince me that if this were actually for the national title that Utah still would've won. Bama would've actually been motivated all game, from the start, and would've beat Utah.

This is still my favorite BYU team roster. Even tho it was Independent conference, this was their best season since '98's roster (if I'm correct). Imagined if Utah Utes didn't cancel HOLY WAR in 2020.

The 2010s was rough for BYU fans. I may be a Y fan but I liked this shade of Red Color rush above all the Utes jerseys/uniforms.

I remember seeing this game live as a 12-year old and being in awe seeing Marshall Faulk go up the middle and outrun the BYU secondary's angle of pursuit for a 70-yard TD. Marshall Faulk was underrated then, and I believe he still is when we start to talk about NFL greats at the RB position.

Even the Cougars have come a long way from the 2010s. They still love to dominate half the game and choke/collapse towards the end. Karma came in clutch for the Utes on 11-9-24 tho

My goodness we got completely boned by the clock run off at the end of the first half. There should have been more than 10 seconds there for the run off on the false start.

This was my only son's first BYU football game he watched in person. He was 7 yrs old. I pit him on my shoulders when we stormed thr field. It made him a BYU fan for life and now he's a student at the Y and works with the athletic department living the dream
