Good Golly Miss Molly I Wish there Were More Plumbers & Contracters as Good & Honest as this Guy !! My Faith / Trust in Humanity Grows A Little More Each Time I Watch Steve !!
Nothing makes me smile after a long hard day like seeing Miss Molly
Great video, I always hate it when something acts up until you take it in for repair and then it works fine. Glad you were able to fix it on the first try.
Steve, your experience shows on how you diagnose. Takes alot of work to put out your videos thanks!
Miss Molly's gone all gansta' on us driving The Lav Mobile in the Hood sporting her Hoodie ... Lol ... Good vid Stevie Boy ... Nice troubleshoot ...
Had the same problem with the same Honeywell controller. It would trip out intermittently sometimes it would work for a week or just a day or two. Changed out the controller fixed it.
Awesome job man you seem like an honest man I wish you were in my area to work on my oil furnace but I'm in Huntsville Ontario Canada probably a bit of a drive for you
Another nice job Momma! And oh golly Ms. Molly is looking good!!!
Hey Steve how you doing just trying to give you a little insight on heat exchanger try this out if it’s a blast tube 02 to 20 make A a paper funnel to each blast tube then pour coffee grounds into each tube turn on your unit and If you smell burnt coffee in the house you have a cracked heat exchanger This is a good trick
Works all the time
Steve and Molly are working OT again mama!
no better felling then when that boiler finally fires up after you diagnose, fix and hope that does the trick.
Great video Steve appreciate all the hard work you do making them best wishes from 🇬🇧 uk
Usually equipment never acts up right when your looking at it! It’s always after you’ve been there for an hour, and now your 5 miles down the road!
Nice video Steve. Always look foward to them.
Love these troubleshooting videos. Thanks! Ms Molly is driving again y'all.
That s so funny, Miss Molly now ready to drive ..one paw. You dun good Steve!
I think I just found another great mentor. PLEASE keep posting more of these videos👍
Love the dog!! Thanks for the tips.
Hi. I’m done have light you now why thanks
what does bubbles out the bleeder hose mean?
do you shut power off to the boiler before pulling the electrode? My breaker is not labeled so i'm trying to see where I can monitor power to figure out which breaker it is.
good job. dang those oil fired boilers and near boiler piping seem to require a lot of fixing besides annual maintenance, filters and nozzles. seems like he is routinely changing out expansion tanks, hy vents, feeders, relief valves, controls, motors, etc. guess that is because of the age of these systems. the taco stuff seems pretty tough.
Bob W the city or well water quality will also influence how long the “wet” parts of the system will last. Also if glycol is added for freeze protection it tends to reduce the life of rubber parts in the system like expansion tank diaphragms.
Cannot see the wiring with hand in the way, were you just trying to run the blower motor with the orange wire to blower and disconnected oil valve and ignition wires?
We're gonna go from heat directly to AC season again. No middle.. Longer winters lately. Get ready for those AC calls. :-)
I had the electric cut to the house and had to run new wire to my furnace. I got a Beckett 7505 oil furnace. I turned the emergency switch on and got power. I got the blinking soft lock and I mashed the button. The soft lockout went off but nothing happened. The flame and pump prime lights flashed yellow then just nothing. I got the thermo set to 80.... I don't know what to check? Any suggestions?
Where is the reset
What about my beckkett R7184 B 1032 control has no light butt has power before it at the junction box
Star of the show; Miss Molly!
my friends red light is on. it was hit with water from a flood. when they press the red reset button it turns on, but then turns off. they have no hot water. any suggestions?
Steve love the hoodie that you got molly she's looking cool. Peace brother
Miss Molly sporting a hoodie! ❤️
I've never had as many problems with a furnace as I do the beckett one. I just had a delivery today and it was running great after priming it and then all of a sudden it kept shutting off and not kicking on when the thermostat told it to. I'm at a loss
Same here did you ever fix it?
You really need to turn off the furnace completely before oil delivery and a good hour after. When the oil tank is filled it kicks up all the crap in the bottom of the tank. The crap then flows to the burner since it’s floating around and clogs the nozzle or something. It’s just good idea to turn furnace off right before and a little after oil delivery. 👍👍
you said not to keep resetting because it would flood the boiler.
1. if it trips due to intermittently or flip flop where it trips then you reset and it works ok then trips again and then reset and it works but just does not work on the first time intermittently is it safe to keep resetting?
2. can an animal hit that kill button say for example a squirrel or mouse?.
every winter lately has been mild enough for me to have mouse problems and i caught a couple mice this year .
i had to have the boiler repaired a couple times in the last month.
the first time was because explosions where fireballs was shooting out the flue and blowing the flue draft damper flap off the pivot hinge and making a loud bang
they repair crew replaced the fuel pump, control box, cad cell, spark electrodes and the fuel filters.
then a month later it started exploding again so they replaced the ignition transformer as it was intermittently failing.
then a couple days later they had to replace a defective nozzle and now today the reset button popped and i reset and it fired up ok.
this time i turned the heat down to 68 from 70 to see if maybe it does not like heating so high especially with the mild winter.
Steve the beckett training was awesome, but nothing on the RWB,I cant stand that GUN. Would love to hear what u think about that GUN,maybe a couple tricks from an old school G?Why Not ?RWB info coming?
Great job Steve....Hey Ms. Molly looking good GF..lol...
I can't get my furnace to fire up. It sounds like it wants to. Then stops. No green light or anything. Please help 🤦🏿♂️
PVC cleaner to clean electrodes.
Pump screen should have been checked
A/c season will be starting soon ;)
those becketts are a repairmans friend!
Just asking. Could they just start changing winter fuel oil to summer grade oil?
He’s driving a train again mama
That’s no truck it’s a locomotive going down the track
Not just that, but also mobile supply house that keeps him efficient and allows him to fix most clients problems without an expensive ( time and money) run to the supply house.
Other contractors must be envious! they would have to run back to the shop or the supply house to get the parts.
Thankfully he has Miss Molly looking after the inventory!
Thanks Steven for a wonderful insight on your business, I work in the electronics field and logical troubleshooting is the same across all disciplines, you are a master!
Ok calm down Russell
All Molly needs is the baseball cap and she will be like a mini version of you!
Hi
I think Miss Molly needs one of those electric blankets keep her warm
