    Not a bad video at all. Should we expect more H3 videos? I'm interested.

    Hi From France and thank you for your highly instructive videos👍 here 's my question: I kept hearing diff clunking each time I shift gear ( manual gearbox) of my H3 3.5L 2006. a clunking noise at the driveshaft when at lower speed, and it deseappears at higher speed .I have worked out my driveshaft by changing both extermities (join, bearings , grease) with new pieces, the noise is still there. So, I removed the driveshaft , no noise at all. Would you have any idea of what could the real problem be?
    thank you so uch for your help.

    I bought a 06 H3 Lux Kit recently. I love it!! Wondering what "mechanical upgrades" if any you made to your H3. I'm hoping to do some moderate overland/camping post-COVID

      I pick up my "New" 2006 H3 this afternoon !
      I'm looking forward to doing a deck in the rear cargo area along with removing the rear seats... I'm going to install a Chinese Diesel Air heater in the back also !

    Just purchased a 2006. How often should it be changed? Front and Rear.

    What fluids in the rest of the drivetrain?

    Do you need to put any kind of additive with the gear oil? Like a limited slip additive or something?

    I have a 2006 H3 and when you are driving you hear a gear noise coming from the front end, it sounds like you are in 4 Hi Lock, but it is not. I never heard this noise before, could it be that the front diferential is low on gear oil ? what do you think it could be ?

    • @rizkybiss
      @rizkybiss 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I recently had a problem where I thought I was in 4 high lock. It was very hard to do tight turns it felt like everything was binding and I heard noises from the front end. I also have a 2006 H3 and it turns out that the shift fork in the transfer case is made out of plastic. So what happens is the fork breaks and the transfer case jumps from four high to 4 high lock when it feels like it causing issues. I had my transfer case replaced a few days ago and it does not do it anymore. I'm not sure if that's the issue you're describing but if not, it's not a matter of if but when. That plastic fork in the transfer case will fail.

      @@rizkybiss what about the same issue on a newer model without plastic fork?

    • @rizkybiss
      @rizkybiss 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@h3rm1tspaceballer23 not sure on that one. It could be the motor has it switched to 4hi lock but says 4hi on the dash. Maybe the hummer had the transfer case switched out before you bought it at one time and it might be an older one that has the plastic fork? How do you know for sure it has a metal shift fork?

      @h3rm1tspaceballer23 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rizkybiss that's a good point. I don't know that for sure. It does say 4hi but it's obviously in 4 hi lock still.
